About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Great improvements
Over the last two years the course conditions have being improving tremendously. There's now grass in the fairways, the greens for the most part are running smoothly, some greens still have patches of bad grass, most of the tee boxes are in good condition, no. Eight tee box on the east course is terrible. Most negative point is no drink cart on the course during the week. Overall I would recommend the course as a good value

Fabulous Golf Experience
We started with meeting the Greeter, Michael was so personable and entertaining. He gave us a short run of the course and off we went.
Cart was clean, new and fast. Tee boxes clean with nicely cut grass. Fairways very sparse dry patches, considering this is Florida and greens were nice.
Course Layout is fun, got confused a couple times, since the two 18 holes inter-mindle, but intriguing nonetheless.

Decent value
Decent value, I played the West course and overall I would say it’s in fair condition, the worst part about it for me was the bunkers some of them I wouldn’t want to put a club on that sand as they were completely filled with rocks that are visible to the eye the staff I guess does not rake them… fairways are in great shape and tea boxes are in OK shape…. The first four greens on the west side although roll OK have a lot of foreign weeds on the grass but you get what you pay for the rest of the greens I must say we’re in better condition…..Overall decent value for what you pay and a good course for average to high handicappers as it is very open and easy to score well if you’re a single digit handicapper looking for a challenge I would look somewhere else

Staff was great, course is still a challenge despite the na sayer in this site. If your single digit go someplace else. For the vast majority of golfers this a great courses, great staff and fun to play.
