About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Rainy Day Gem
Staff was great, course is still a challenge despite the na sayer in this site. If your single digit go someplace else. For the vast majority of golfers this a great courses, great staff and fun to play.
Not bad for the price
Def not a super well kept course, but you get what you pay for. Overall it’s worth the money.

Rough Course and Even rougher Staff
The west course,tee boxes were rough hardly any grass on them, greens had a bunch of weeds in them, course overall didnt look very well kept, no rakes in the bunkers to get rid of divots for other golfers. Had to pay by credit card only, wouldnt take cash which was a inconvenience. Staff was very nice at first but got real crappy with us at the end, without from being around here, yelled at us and threatened to call cops because we wasent in before 5:30, and no one even told our group about that or (had that posted anywhere on the scorecard or anywhere), and pretty much called us liars about that. Ive played much nicer courses back home and never had a issue with playing till dark, a simple hey guys its getting dark would you guys mind coming in would of just been fine, instead of getting crappy with us and forcibly telling us to leave. Would probably not come back if i lived down here.

Course fairways and tee boxes in good condition. Greens are acceptable. All round fun play.

Slow Pace
We had a terrible experience as we pace of game was very slow. We stuck behind a twosome and a threesome, all of them seem to be beginners. Which would not be a problem, when they would not have finished all holes. I guess nobody scored in single digit a hole. When you see They were driving back and for, they took all the time after finish a hole to get off to the next. On most holes we had been at least two flights waiting to tee off. But obvious nobody cared about it. We will never play this course again. Furthermore staff was not friendly at all. In the pro shop they took calls first, although several clients already had been wating in line to register. Overall a bad experience.
