Get what you pay for
This course for beginners is both good and bad. It’s inexpensive and affordable for someone new that wants to practice without holding up people who are really good at pro courses. But, the conditions of the fairway and greens aren’t really suitable for “practicing to get better.” The greens are super inconsistent and patchy making it nearly impossible to get any type of consistent putt-training. You land in the fairway and there’s a fair chance you land in hard dirt or sand that’s not suitable for trying to learn to strike the ground after the ball, as the ground doesn’t give in those spots and you end up with a poor shot from a nice swing because the club head just bounces off the ground. All in all though, despite the poorer conditions than most, is was still a fun layout and if you’re decent at golf, the price point makes it worth the conditions.
Fun course
Had a good time pace was a little slow and not much of a club house and no bunker
Great value for money
Friendly staff, very reasonable. course in fair condition but can tell they are working on it. No sand traps but some water.
Greg the pro is a very good guy who really enjoys his job and his guests. Nice casual 9 hole experience at an affordable price.
Mr.Wallace
Great Hidden Golf Course. WORTH THE MONEY.. Staffs Very Friendly.
Sucks
Staff is friendly but course conditions and pace of play make this course unplayable.
Chipping and putting greens are under renovation. The ladies tee boxes if you can even call them that were terrible. The greens were also in terrible shape.
Frosty morning
Decided to book a round early in A.M, frost happen even in North Florida it happens.. the staff said we had to wait to let the frost melt, it's Florida it did not take long.Staff is nice ,went out had an OK round , still working on getting better. I Like the course always set up reasonably . They are adding 3 par 3's , hopefully be completed by the summer time
Better places to play
It's a 9 hole course with no starter. It took over a half an hour to get through 2 holes. They let groups of 4+ go out at once. This place should be $10 for 9 holes. There's many other courses that are better for what you pay here.
Good price for a decent course.
Always enjoyed playing here. Good city course and condition is better now.
Good course for a quick round of golf
Greens are decent but that's about it. The tees are horrible, fairways are...fair. I liked the free app that shows yardage and the carts are good. I got around by myself in a little over 2 hours, which was nice.
Overpriced unless you get "The Deal."
Good for beginners
This public course is a very good course for your first round. Often not too busy you can take your time and hone in your game. Minimal hazards and all holes are straight lines tee to pin will probably allow you to have personal best rounds. Tee boxes and fairways are in pretty bad in most places. Greens are very well maintained. Staff was helpful and price was great
