Stoneybrook East Golf Course
About
Located in Central Florida, Stoneybrook East Golf Course is a championship course that has all the signatures of classic Florida golf courses. Although traditional in design there are some modern elements that lend to the overall challenge of the course. The large fairways are naturally tree-lined and the generous greens are multi-tiered and undulating. The green are also immaculately kept. Preserved wetlands and waterways create hazards that come into play on a few holes. There is also abundant wildlife on the course. Stoneybrook East Golf Course features three sets of tees.

Stoneybrook East
First time playing Stoneybrook East in a while. The course has improved a lot since my last outing, especially the greens.
Good day despite the weather
We were pleasantly surprised by the improved course condition since playing it last year. The greens were in good shape and the fairways and tees are coming along. Despite the intermittent rain, we enjoyed our round and even after taking time to hide under a tree during particularly heavy showers, we still managed to play in less than 4 hours.
Need pace of play enforcement
Played here twice. I overall enjoy it, but the pace of play is a REAL problem. Backed up behind a pair and 2 foursomes around the 5th hole… only took my about 20-30 minutes to get to that point… Spent 4 hours on the course total… including over 2 and a half hours on the back 9.
No enforcement or visible tracking/encouragement of pace.
Pretty good
The greens have gotten much better. Greens were still very soft and wet when I went. Back 9 fairways were a little rough in some spot. They were very muddy. Overall good layout. Staff is very friendly.
Great layout - too bad they can’t get course in good condition
Course has some fun holes. Conditions are below average at best. Shame - I have played this course since it opened. It has gone downhill over the years.
Priced like a much nicer course
Never played here before but for charging $50 at 1:00 we figured it must be in decent shape. It was awful. The greens were patchy at best. The layout had potential to be a very nice course. Needs a lot of work!
Black Friday
I don’t usually do product and/or course reviews. But i happened to have met the owner Gregor and LPGA member Polly Mack, they were extremely friendly and engaging so it made doing this review extremely easy.
The course was well maintained when compared to many of the area courses.
In the pro shop Cole was super nice and informative. I will be playing here again when the weather is better.
Stoneybrook East
I loved playing this course this week. Corse is in good condition, the staff are friendly and there was no waiting.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, only drinks and snacks were available at the kiosk.
Good course. Needs ranger.
This is a really cool course and can be quite challenging. On a nice day when there aren’t many people out, it’s one of my favorites however, when it’s busy, the pace can be unbearable and last well over 4 hours. Someone to speed up the pace would be a great improvement.
slow golf
course was good but pace of play was slow do three foursomes backing everyone up, NO marshals to keep things moving
faster groups could not play thru..
we were playing as a thressome and were waiting 10-15 minutes on every tee box starting on 12.
ruined the backnine.
I understand this on the weekends, but on a Monday midday with half the course wide open?????
