Course Condition
2nd time playing Clerbrook. Lots of rain have limited playing all 18 holes. Greens are pretty rough. Price is right and I'll certainly play again.
Clerbrook golf and Rv
This was the absolute worst course I have played in 25 years here in central florida. I cant believe it was even open to play. Only 5 holes on the front and 4 holes on the back, all others were closed due to greens that were so scabbed up . Even the holes we played the greens were absolutly a mess. I could. Have done better out in the cow pasture. Whoever is in charge of keeping this course in shape should be fired. I cant believe I even paid money to play such a horrible course and I invited my brother from up north. I was ashamed. I wish there was a way to get a refund. Extremely dissapointed.
Half the holes
The course had half the holes closed because the greens were unplayable. But the 9 that were open were in good shape. It was soggy as we have received significant amounts of rain. The greens that have been redone are very nice, once those others are complete I will love to come back and play again. Lots of water hazards but very few bunkers.
Greens are WORST i have ever played
DO NOT ,DO NOT Play this course .All of the greens had some or NO GRASS you had to putt on dirt and they do not have a sign at the pro shop to tell you about this.We picked our ball up when we got on the green (DIRT).The fairways are bad also.I have played this course on & off for 30 years and this is the worst i have EVER seen it.I would wait until next year and call and ask the green condition before you go.
Greens are Sand
The greens were made to of mostly sand and little to no green.......i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.... it should be $5 with the current conditions do not waste your time or money....i drive almost an hour each way....i will never be back
Greens are sandy beware
The greens were very sandy and barely green at all.....i wish i didn't not play here this was a huge disappointment.....i strongly do not recommend playing here.
Greens need to be redone
This is our second time playing the course and it has not improved. Most of the greens are brown and you are putting on sandy dirt. Just awful. We won't be returning until the greens recover.
Great bones
This course has such great bones. Well designed and visibly appealing. That said there is little else to congratulate.
Several greens were just compressed dirt. The practice area was a dust bowl and the clubhouse area was in need of an overhaul.
Such the pity.
In contrast the fairways and the tee boxes were in fair shape and the routing of the course was great. You could see the trouble and the group ahead with ease.
The course was backed up on the day we played and initially we had been scheduled to join a twosome.
We were informed that you don’t do that there.
The death of golf etiquette.
Would recommend playing only when course conditions improve .
You call those greens???
We booked two weeks stay at this resort through our Thousand Trails membership hoping to play it 7-8 times while camping. We booked a tee time the day we arrived for the following day. The tee areas were rough but acceptable as were the fairways but most of the greens were anything but green. Grass was almost non-existent. After that first round I canceled my next tee time and we found other courses in the area for less money and much much better condition.
Nice little course
If money is no object you won't want to play here., but for people on a budget it is a very good course for the money. It has water on almost every hole so bring plenty of extra golf balls.
