Clerbrook Golf course
Clerbrook Golf course always a great course for the money, not an easy course but a challenging one. The waterholes will eat you up.
Course was nice
Staff were excellent. People were very friendly. Enjoyed my day of golf and met three wonderful people that I played golf with that day. Had a great time.
Tight course.
Ok overall course but bring your straight ball. Lots of water on some holes. Important to plan your strategy on certain holes as ball placement may be more important than distance.
Bit bumpy
Cart paths tad bit bumpy, but tricky layout with lots of water.
Best Condition Ever!!!
The Fairways are best I have every seen them..The greens are smooth as i have ever seen them.A GREAT value for the money Alot of water you cannot see
Really have to hit straight shots or you will be in trouble great to practice accuracy
Just as good the second time!
We played this and lots of other Orlando courses last winter, and this was the first one we returned to this season! Again, we were not disappointed!
Excellent tight course with challenging holes on a varied layout. Everything was in great condition including the greens which were true, but just a bit on the slow side. My partner (who plays off 1 and is extremely picky about the places we play) only wished the tee-boxes were cut a little shorter.
This is a real hidden gem and unlike the same-same feel you get at so many of the other Orlando courses, the golf feels a bit more real here. And you don't feel as if they are simply taking your money!
There is a nice practice area with putting, short game and driving area. (Someone mentioned it was hard to find or get to. Um, it is right behind the pro shop and is easily accessible) A VERY LARGE basket of balls will only set you back $4, a fraction of the price I've found at other area courses. So it really is a good place to come and spend a bit of time practicing before you set off. That's a general them in the shop...a quick look at the merchandise revealed reasonably priced and interesting clothes and other items. Staff and the locals all seem super friendly.
Finally, even with a little bit of waiting on a couple of holes, we were done and finished in just over three hours...pace of play was more than acceptable compared to what we have endured at the likes of many of the more well-known, fancy courses.
We will be back again soon!
Greens
Superb greens! Smooth & well sodded & wicked hard with slopes. Will definitely play this again!
Great staff, bad course
The gentleman they had in the clubhouse was 5 stars for sure. He was very nice and professional, although he was overly concerned that we not crowd the "older folks" while playing. Other than that he was great. Now, the driving range is a bit complicated to get to and was a bit overgrown. Also it is only 200yds long so forget the driver! The course layout left something to be desired with the exception of two Par 5's that were fun. The grass was a little tall, but not too bad. Tee boxes needed mowing & grooming. We even had several residents drive out on to the course while we were playing. An older couple actually drove out in front of us and tee'd off on the 10th hole. We were stuck behind them the entire back 9. All in all, I don't think I will ever be back.
Great course for price very rnjoyable
Very enjoyable short or not that's all you get
Poor conditions
Tee boxes were not mowed. Greens were in very bad shape. Overall not a good experience.
It's a gem
Very nice course . People very friendly and accommodating
Course in good condiction
Would recommend
A little out of the way
Great value
Played with friend and we thought this course was very well maintained. Its easy to lose balls so bring extra. Overall I would rate this course a B+.
Hidden Gem...Excellent value for money!
What a fantastic place! Super friendly staff, good practice range area with inexpensive balls, and a real interesting, challenging course in great condition. Greens a bit slow, but true and I thought the place was in great shape. We got a Golf Now deal and paid less than $18 each, but would have happily paid more. Don't be put off by the inexpensive price, this place offers better conditions, and a friendlier experience than other courses well more than twice the price. Great find...we will be back! =-)
PS we rode, but think it would be a great course for walkers...no long drive between holes.
good course
a challenge. with water on every hole you have to hit it straight. people were very friendly. nice driving range. price was good. there were no other tee times available the day we played.
This is a hidden gem
A great advert for Florida golf = not massively long, tight fairways, small greens and water on 17 holes!! The 8th was a dry joy to play. Lost 4 or 5 golf balls but still had a hoot and would come back. Staff were all very friendly and perhaps a first for me, the fourball on the first waved my partner and I through - does it get any better/
good course
Its a great course to sharpen your short game and it has enough difficulty to be competive
Tough course.
Tough course with water everywhere! A fun little course worth the cost.
Bring Balls.....
The course was relatively easy if you only hit the ball 150 yards and straight. The course really humbled me; very narrow fairways, small greens (in good shape), and lots....I mean lots....of water. I lost more balls this round than I did all of last year!!!! Very enjoyable round, will play it again!
