Good for the price
Nice overall staffers, golf car great condition, seme the greens, but fairway need some attention, good rate overall, still will play again.
Waste of money
This course is a dump! More weeds on the fairway than grass, greens full of holes. Some really silly holes. Very slow round 5 hours for round. Will not play again. The whole course has gone downhill since last played 2 years ago. Is in desperate need of some investment and TLC.

Too bad that this course doesn't get more TLC and the conditions were not better because it's a good layout and will keep you engaged and if you don't you will put a big number

Beautiful Layout But Slow, Slow, Slow
I wouldn't like a 5 1/2 hour round even if I was playing Pebble Beach. (well considering the ocean views at Pebble that might be a slight exaggeration)This course is a beautiful, but tough, layout with lots of elevation changes and views of Lake Minneola. The course features doglegs and a couple of forced carries. I would call the 11th par 4, the signature hole. It's only 268 yards from the forward tees but it requires most golfers to hit over a swamp to a narrow landing area then over the swamp again to the green. Great golf hole!
The slow pace of play will drive most golfers crazy. So I recommend the course to people that don't mind slow play and 5 or 6 hour rounds of golf.

Plenty of Socialization time
This coourse is laid out well, and is challenging. The greens are finally starting to come back from near extinction, and the fairways are starting to get a little more grass on them. This was not my first trip to this course , and it seems to have a very slow pace of play. Back ups on the 1st tee seem to be the norm , and slow play abounds. This course has the potential to be really enjoyable if the pace of play cand be improved along with continued improvement of the fairways and greens.

Nice layout
Must have been a really lovely course at one time and could be again with a little investment and focused irrigation. This said it was fun to play and had some very interesting and challenging holes. Off the championship tees it is long and not for the faint hearted. The staff were most welcoming and added much to the overall feel good factor. I would play it again and have no trouble recommending it as a nice course to play.

Long day at Palisades
Slow play,!!!! got in a 3 some. took almost 3 hours to finish 9 holes. started on the back but had to wait so long on hole 11. I quit and left. Not a bad course but
tee times are too close together.Holes 4 and 5 had 6 groups on them when we got to the box. Didn't have enough carts,had to wait for it too.

Great price course has improve
First time I played there this year was busy but pace was very good. Greens are to slow for me but they are in good shape . Some hole still need some improvement so you don't get penalize even with a very good shot.

Pleasantly surprised
We were quite apprehensive about playing here after reading the reviews about this course. Although some comments about condition are warranted, we found this course to be challenging, fun, and quite playable. Yes, the fairways and greens are not quite up to the standard of many Florida courses but the views, level of difficulty and price fit us just fine. The sand, water, marsh land and elevation changes provide challenges all along the holes. The day we played the weather was perfect: it is a lot better than the snowbanks and frigid temperatures back home! We would definitely play this course again and perhaps knowing some of the quirks, end up with better numbers on the score card! Thanks! We had a great day!

améliorations en cours
Golf qui a eu des difficultés. Mais apparemment il se reprend. Bien qu'il ait l'air du parent pauvre dans la région, il est quand même bien mieux que certains golfs français au prix bien plus élevé. Le starter est français. C'est un petit plus.

I think they are trying but not at my expense
Well it's getting somewhat better but still very poor. I just don't see this place making a comeback to even an acceptable golf course. If you just want to hit a ball then it's fine other than that it's not good. I think they should have left the place closed and worked on it before opening it back up. It's just a driving range but not a golf course

Great course design. Spectacular view. Greens needed somewhat fast and bouncy but playable. Loved the different challenging holes. I'll definitely be back!
