What a great Joe Lee designed course! Plenty of hazards, slopes, and super enjoyable holes to play with fun, tricky shots...also very nice views around a lake side community..granted that the conditions of the course are not great but the design more than makes up for it and we never had a hole where the conditions caused a problem...looks like the course is on the right track to get it back into shape..and far as the layout..what can I say...it's an all around tough course but fair if you're hitting it well...definitely seems to play longer due to the elevation changes..greens and pins are placed in strategic locations and plenty of slopes on the greens so approach shots are tricky..this course was not designed to be a pitch and putt, but more of a championship caliber type of course... would love to play this course when it's in top condition and would give it a solid 5 stars then.. its an experience from whatever tee you play from so bring your game!

Really nice course with lots of different feactures.

I original read all of the negative reviews and decided not to go. But we got flooded out at another course, so my wife and I took a chance. What a surprise to and pleasure to play this course.

This course can be a very challenging course to play. Great elevation changes, gives an added feature to the course. Yes some of the greens needs some work. This is not a Disney course for $200 a round. This is a great locals course that looks to be improving. For the value you can not beat this course. The fairways are fine. Yes a few weeds but again, if you take a divot, it should not be a problem. My wife and I played on a extremely windy day, which gave an extra challenge. The views are nice of the lake, and the staff is very friendly. We had a full 18 booked for the afternoon, so we only did 9. We will be back to play a series of rounds to get the true value.

Palisades is a fun & interesting course- a variety of challenges await the player as one proceeds around the course. Absence of restroom facilities would be a fine addition for management to consider in the future. Greens had a few issues but not overwhelming or a major distraction- something to blame other than self for missed putts! Will definitely re-visit this course!

Check on was a breeze and the pro shop staff most welcoming. We booked via golf now and bought a "hot Deal" for $34 bucks for two. We were glad we did not pay any more. The tee boxes are uneven, sparsely grassed as was the fairways and greens.The course was in worse shape than last year at this time. We won't return.

Golf shop stated the course was in good condition but that was a real stretch. Payed to play 18 holes and quit after nine. Had a foursome and a single jump in front of us after the 6th hole and there was no marshal on the course. The fairways were very poor and the greens were worse. Never again.

As a 76 year old senior with a 15 handicap this course was too long for me from the whites. Decided to play from there because the strangers I played with were all using these tees. As I look back the gold tees may have been too much (over 6000 yds). The combination of length and hazards made it a difficult day However , I would recommend this course just to experience the unique layout and challenge.

The course has just reopened after being closed for the summer months. We have played the course before and the conditions are not nearly as good as they were in the past. The course needs work to get back to the level of nearby courses.

Played her 2 years ago. Was good then but what a difference 2 years make.Couse layout very good but course is in poor shape Would not go back again. Course is on Iits last legs. Would not be surprised if it is closed next year. Would not recommend.

Course is in bad shape but has a nice layout. Can tell it is not maintained. Greens are very bumpy, inconsistent and damaged.

Shaggy rye grass fairways, slow bumpy greens. Good layout which has fallen into a poor state. Letting course sit for 6 to 7 months a year does not help. Not worth the money

In the past years, I enjoyed this course's many challenging holes.
Last year the course had deteriorated somewhat but now it is basically unplayable. The fairways are very patchy and the greens have areas with no grass at all and the grass areas are so rough that putts reacted like the plinko game on The Price is Right!

What a shame management has let this course fall into such bad shape.

The regular price of this course is in the $30 range, the Greens are in bad shape and would have been very discouraged if we paid full price. With the greens at the condition they are in, would not recommend this course.

This is not Disney. With that said the course is a great, challenging course with character. Most of the fairways are in good to great shape with at least a noticeable 2 cut, and half with a good 3 cut. The bunkers are well placed and well kept. Now the greens, hmmmm, bad is almost too nice. They ARE working to fix them, but still worth the discount rate any day, and worth a try no matter when. The staff is friendly, the carts are nice. If you want more, pay the $80 to $150 and go to Disney. Just this man's thoughts....

The greens, especially, were not good; but from tee to green the course was not in good shape at all.

The people and staff were great. The greens need a lot of attention. The price was good though.

I was extremely dissapointed with the condition of the course. Although I paid for nine holes, I only played four and quit because the course was in terrible condition. This is a shame because it used to be one of my favorites. Needless to say I will not be back.

Still in process of putting course in good condition. Would have been nice if overseeding and lack of mowing was mentioned on golf now
