About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Poor Condition
No grass on tee boxes! Very little grass in fairways. Greens were actually ok. I have taken this course off my future list and will most likley never play it again.
Staff was very friendly. Best thing about this place was the staff
Poor conditions
I played this course over Thanksgiving and I was happy with the condition of the course. Things have deteriorated significantly since November.
Fairways are in poor condition, Greens and tee boxes are not much better. It's as if they stopped maintaining the course.
Friendly staff, newer carts.
Tank Proving Ground
Ugh. Shows its age and lack of maintenance. First decent fairway was #12, bare tees, tree roots everywhere, greens were so so at best, facilities out of the 60s.
Dump
This course is not worth more than $20.00. They are taking advantage of seasonal players as any other nearby is a much better value
Good layout rough conditions
That said we had a great time, greens are tricky stay below the hole. Not much grass in fairways. It’s a 25-30$ golf course, lots fun but don’t anticipate lush conditions.
Great course
We played here on a hot deal, 29$. The course has very fast slick greens that are reasonably smooth. The fairways have a lot of bare spots. We got a good deal but as most of the courses in Florida this one is overpriced unless you can find a good hot deal. We will return as long as they offer hot deals less than 30$.
Decent course, amazing staff
Decent course, a little rough shape in some areas. All of the entire staff were absolutely amazing. Will definitely return based on the staff alone.
Great layout average condition.
Greens and layout were the main attraction of this course. Driving range was off of mats even for the driver and the range balls have seen better days. Not much in the pro shop and restrooms were pretty shabby. Fairways were pretty scruffy but bunkers were in good shape and well maintained. Greens were in good shape and very fast.
Tee boxes could use some work.
Greens were in good shape and were quite fast. Tee boxes need some work. It possible there isn’t enough tee area to vary the tee locations and allow for regrowth.
Great value proposition !
Staff is friendly, fun course. Great value for the price.
FAST greens, well groomed bunkers, definitely worth a look !!
Challenging greens
The course was in reasonable shape and the holes were interesting since they all had unique characteristics. Sand guards most of the approaches. The greens are a bit unfair if you land above the hole since the ball would roll off of the green is you missed regardless of how soft you putted the ball.

The course was in great shape and very challenging for most golfers I will return and play again
Wish they were closer to home
If they were closer to Orlando I'd play here at least twice a mont
