About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Course was very playable. Played in under 4 hours on a Sat. Noon tee time.
Fairways and ruff need work on some holes. Greens were good and played fast.
Interesting Course
There are a lot of doglegs, with a few blind t-shots. Rough is very bare, fairways ok, greens were very good and the downhill putts could get away from you, which caused me to be very tentative on the greens. I liked it, with more grass in the rough and fairways, should be really good this summer.
Great value
The greens were in excellent condition, fast and sloping. Almost every hole had something different, (downhill, dogleg playing round water).Great value for money. I will derinately return when I am next in Florida.
Hidden Gem of a Neighborhood Muni
This course was a great experience out in the Clermont area and definitely worth the drive. The staff was super nice in the pro shop and the starter. I was expecting a slow day out on the course but groups were moving with great pace for a morning full of foursomes.
Course overall was fantastic with all of the hills. Water comes into play on a stretch from 7 to 12 (minus 11). Definitely some width and angles out there on the back. Would play this course again for sure.

GOOD LAYOUT - OK CONDITIONS
Very nice layout - greens good - fairways ok - rough kind of bare. Get a good deal from Golf Now Hot Deal and it will be worth it.

Course is in great shape. Interesting layout with ups and downs. Greens are fast and true.

There are a lot of higher price courses that could take a lesson. from Green Valley.
Course did not have record of prepaid golfnow reservation. But handled situation nicely on a busy Saturday afternoon
Golf course layout was excellent with many elevated changes. Condition of fairways were average but the greens were very good. Great value for your money and a fun experience
Great layout
This course was fun to play and had some very challenging holes especially in the back nine. The course and greens are in very nice shape when compared to others in the price range. I will play there again.

3rd time playing the course and it has improved
25% every time. It is now in great shape and combined with the awesome layout, makes for a lovely day of golf.
Green Valley is one of my favorites
Even though Green Valley get a fair deal of play the staff and maintenance try to keep ahead of everything. Course is warn out in some places but what course isn't. Greens were running a bit fast today and tee boxes are okay. There are a lot of tight lies out in the fairway
Course in good shape and crowded on a Friday
It was a busy Friday afternoon at Green Valley. I was encouraged by the traffic and the fact that this course seems to be sustainable. The Palisades is dead, Legends is dead.
The course was in good shape and beautiful as ever. Can’t beat it for $25 on golf now.
