About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Not well taken care off
Course has potential. Greens were in ok shape and with good speed but that is about all. The tee boxes and fairways are mostly weeds and dirt. Not sure why it was rated 4 stars which puts it in same category as some other much better kept courses. Rating a 4 star course is making the rating system unreliable.
Course condition advanced. Excellent pace for a Sunday
Now, this course was always a hidden treasure for me over many many years. I did not play it for several years, as my experience in 2015 was very bad and gave it now another try. We had a very pleasant and rather fast round (3 1/2h). The course is in good condition. Tee boxes would definitely need some attention. Fairways mostly just OK and bunkers playable. Greens are rather fast, true, but have some spots needing attention. But overall it is (again!) a good course to go for a round for reasonable rate!

Honestly...we paid $27 each to play here. The course is in bad condition and i could not recommend it. The tees are very rough
The rough is so sparce and hard geound. We enjoyed the game for a low price but wouldnt play if more expensive.
People nice enouh
Course was very playable. Played in under 4 hours on a Sat. Noon tee time.
Fairways and ruff need work on some holes. Greens were good and played fast.
Interesting Course
There are a lot of doglegs, with a few blind t-shots. Rough is very bare, fairways ok, greens were very good and the downhill putts could get away from you, which caused me to be very tentative on the greens. I liked it, with more grass in the rough and fairways, should be really good this summer.
Great value
The greens were in excellent condition, fast and sloping. Almost every hole had something different, (downhill, dogleg playing round water).Great value for money. I will derinately return when I am next in Florida.
Hidden Gem of a Neighborhood Muni
This course was a great experience out in the Clermont area and definitely worth the drive. The staff was super nice in the pro shop and the starter. I was expecting a slow day out on the course but groups were moving with great pace for a morning full of foursomes.
Course overall was fantastic with all of the hills. Water comes into play on a stretch from 7 to 12 (minus 11). Definitely some width and angles out there on the back. Would play this course again for sure.

GOOD LAYOUT - OK CONDITIONS
Very nice layout - greens good - fairways ok - rough kind of bare. Get a good deal from Golf Now Hot Deal and it will be worth it.

Course did not have record of prepaid golfnow reservation. But handled situation nicely on a busy Saturday afternoon
Golf course layout was excellent with many elevated changes. Condition of fairways were average but the greens were very good. Great value for your money and a fun experience
Great layout
This course was fun to play and had some very challenging holes especially in the back nine. The course and greens are in very nice shape when compared to others in the price range. I will play there again.
