About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Perfect for early tee time in July
Price was great. Greens were well maintained and fairways as well. Cart paths a bit bumpy. Restrooms numerous along the course and no one was around to slow a twosome down. Finished in under 3 hours.
Great Layout
Simply put Green Valley never disappoints, the layout is fantastic, elevation changes are a nice change to typical flat courses in Orlando! The greens are really coming along, fairways are looking good and the price is reasonable. We will definitely be back! Keep up the great work everyone!
First hack at the green valley
This course is an emerald in the rough. The two par fives out of the gate build you up to a stunning view from the sixth tee box. My favorite hole includes a spectacular hilltop vista of Clermont and the green swamp area! The back nine also features several lakes and fauna with no added fee! What an enjoyable round of golf :)
Great Value
Green Valley is a scoreable course with some challenging holes. The rough was over grown in some areas but the fairways/greens were in very good condition.

Perfect round
Course was in good shape. Greens were a lil off but for sure Worth the money!
Layout and value
Tree lined front nine with change of elevation makes for a challenging test. Back nine is flatter but includes carries over water. Overall conditions are in keeping with the value. It is a scenic, fun course with several very interesting holes.
Scenic
I like the layout and the value. Front nine is more difficult due to narrow fairways between trees but the course is scenic and fun.
Good course
This is a good course. It has a challenging layout. The greens were in good shape but some of the fairways could use some work.
At its Best
Green Valley has never been in pristine shape, but it’s in good shape and I’d say the best shape it’s ever been in. Even when this course is at its peak, the conditions are average at best and that’s where it’s today. Some fairways were rough with sand and patches but mostly decent. Greens were in great shape. Tee boxes at this course have always been jacked up so don’t look for any improvement there. I’ve always loved the layout and that’s what keeps me coming back. I definitely recommend playing this course while it’s still in good condition.
Rough around the edges
The course is challenging as it is not your typical flat Florida course. That are some blind shots up and down hills. The greens are in great shape.
First two holes
The first two holes need a lot of work some tree trimming and some grass would be well appreciated outside of that Green are firm and great. I like to lay out.
wear a collared shirt???
Went to the course to play nine holes around 6pm. Course was empty. Inside there was a young guy, who said he cant let me on the course because im not wearing a COLLARED SHIRT? i explained that I was a teaching pro, managed a course and those kind of rules are archaic and insulting. The PGA players dont wear collared shirts regularly. I was wearing an athletic top with a crew neck, similar to what tiger woods generally plays in, a Nike
Men's Dri-fit Victory Blade Polo. Exasperated I luckily had a traditional expensive golf shirt with a collar in my car (from firestone golf course) and used it.
Course itself is a very good layout, but is not very well maintained.
Went back the next day and guys in the pro shop were shocked at the collared shirt demand and were very friendly.
