A Lloyd Clifton creation of Kings Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole beauty and Lake County's best-kept secret. Great greens, severe elevation changes, and well-placed hazards will keep you focused on this course. By focusing on the importance of playability, aesthetics and maintenance, Clifton has captured the natural beauty of the area. It is "thinker's course" where players have an opportunity to use every club in the bag.
King's Ridge opened a second 18-hole course in 2002. The new Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is a Par 57, 3660-yard course designed by Ron Garl, making this an ideal location for your 36-hole day.

Good value
Course was in good condition. We played after a few days of rain and it was not wet at all. Carts were nice too. Not overly challenging, but not wide open either. Much less water than most local courses.

Great Value
Course was in very good condition, greens were nice, rolled true and good speed. Pace of play could have been a little better but not bad. Staff in pro shop and starter here very friendly. Would definitely recommend and play again. Reminded me of a northern course with elevation changes not usually found in Florida.

Relaxing round of golf
Pace of play was layed back spacing of afternoon groups was good. The course is in good shape with some of the greens in need of some attention still very playable. I will be back soon.

Play this track a few times when in Florida for the spring, very dependable and fun to play. Haven't been in Fla for 3 years due to Covid and are disappointed the prices at the Ridge have increased almost $20.. As I said a fun track but not a $60.00 course.

Nice course with good fairways and greens. Friendly staff. I’d say medium level difficulty with sloping greens, but I suck.

Fun little layout
Great practice course for the regular golfer, great intro course for the novice golfer. Some cool shot shaping opportunities. Good fairways, greens had some spots but rolled true. Definitely a 40-50 dollar option but not more. Very fun layout for a shorter course featuring some interesting elevation changes. 6100 from back and not too challenging, fantastic for an afternoon round

Course conditions Much Improved
Over the years I have played this course 50 or 60 times. Have not played it since about 2 years ago, when it was in fair to bad shape. It was nice to see the course is now in great shape and we really enjoyed the round. Well worth the Golf Now Hot Rate. By the way, greens were in good condition and the ball rolled true every time. Thumbs Up to the maintenance crew.

King's Ridge a pleasant outing
Greens were excellent, but fast and had lots of undulations - not many straight putts. Fairways were a bit thin, but fine. Traps were well groomed. The only negative is that the rough didn't really exist, just closely mown weeds and grass with some sandy bare spots. The course recovered very quickly after a brief heavy mid-day thunderstorm. I recommend playing this course..

Great little tract
I always enjoy playing here. It’s usually in good shape and never overly crowded. The staff is very accommodating. I play here every time I come to Clermont.
