A Lloyd Clifton creation of Kings Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole beauty and Lake County's best-kept secret. Great greens, severe elevation changes, and well-placed hazards will keep you focused on this course. By focusing on the importance of playability, aesthetics and maintenance, Clifton has captured the natural beauty of the area. It is "thinker's course" where players have an opportunity to use every club in the bag.
King's Ridge opened a second 18-hole course in 2002. The new Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is a Par 57, 3660-yard course designed by Ron Garl, making this an ideal location for your 36-hole day.

Course was in much better shape than a year or so ago when I last played it. It's obvious that the grounds crew is working hard -- the sand traps are raked daily (almost a forgotten art in this area, for some reason); the tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in very good condition. I'll be back again soon!

No carts available!?
Checked in at course. No carts were available. Was told there would be a wait of more than an hour for a cart beyond my scheduled tee time. Told starter I would not wait. Left course. Heard they ran out of carts at 10AM. My tee time was 11:56.

Basic golf
Greens, fairways and sand traps were ok, layout was quite ordinary. Most obvious negative was little grass or watering around greens which Is normal on basic golf courses. Probably not worth the $65.00 green fee

Great place to play but I can't afford to play with the wife at these rate more than once in a great while.

Over priced for what we got
The starter was very nice - but we waited on every shot.. There was no on course cart and the pro shop had very little in the way of cool drinks for the back nine. The course itself was just ok. There are better venues out there for the price. We paid $71 and we played after 1:00 p.m.

Fun short course
First time playing this course. All 4 of us are at different levels with our games. It was short enough fo the higher handicappers and my wife to all say they enjoyed it. While short, it still requires hitting good shots. Greens were very good I felt. Overall, a fun day of golf
