Kings Ridge Golf Club - Kings Course

About
A Lloyd Clifton creation of Kings Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole beauty and Lake County's best-kept secret. Great greens, severe elevation changes, and well-placed hazards will keep you focused on this course. By focusing on the importance of playability, aesthetics and maintenance, Clifton has captured the natural beauty of the area. It is "thinker's course" where players have an opportunity to use every club in the bag.
King's Ridge opened a second 18-hole course in 2002. The new Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is a Par 57, 3660-yard course designed by Ron Garl, making this an ideal location for your 36-hole day.

Kings Ridge - Sun pm
Great layout. Played from golds and still found it challenging. I’m a short hitter at about 165-70 w/ Driver. Greens can be quite tough and tricky to read based on pin position. Sand is soft and consistent. Also some quite steep.
The course was great
Front nine were very good but back nine got slowed because of the foursome in front of us. They did allow one foursome through but had 3 groups backed up behind them.
Great Value
Play this course whenever I come down. Nice layout, some difficult holes to test your game. Greens were aerated but fair & fast. Staff extremely helpful & friendly. Mote bang for your buck than some other courses in the area
Beautiful course. Slow play
Kings Ridge is a beautiful course set in the hills of clermont. The layout is great. The greens were a little thin and slow but rolled true. My only complaint is the 4 some playing slow in front of me. The staff could not be friendlier I will be back.
Good course for all levels of golfers.
We really enjoyed our 4 ball. Played this course a few times over recent years and in general the course played well. Fairways in good condition however a few of the greens were a bit ropey (diseased). Overall very good value for money.
Bill the starter is worth the price of admission
Fun course. Yes, condition wise it tends to be rough around the edges or in spots. However, it's not in bad shape and for what they charge it's a good value. All that said, Bill the starter, (I call him Pittsburgh), is what makes every round feel like it's going to be fun. He's professional, helpful, runs a good ship, and most of all he's a character in all the best ways one considers a person a character. I'll keep going back. The overall value makes it an easy choice.
Great round at King's Ridge
Originally went out as a single, got paired with three very nice gentlemen. Pace of play was excellent even though we continued to get pushed by the group behind us. Initially thought we were playing slow but after the round realized we completed it in 4 hours and 15 minutes, which was perfect. Had a wonderful time playing with the three guys, hope I meet up with them again in the future. Course was in great condition, greens could have been a tad faster but they were still very good. Ball rolled smooth and true , probably about a nine on the stent meter. All in all a great day of golf.
Quick Round
Warm day, busy place, but round was very fast. Played as a 4-some in 3 h 20 minutes in the middle of the day. Greens were a little slow compared to normal but may have been intentional due to the hot weather.
Good conditions and will get better
I've played Kings Ridge before and I really like the course. A local told me there had been some damage from the hurricane but there has been steady improvement. I have to agree. There are some lingering effects but it's still a nice place to play. My only negative is their tee times are every 7 minutes. If you play frequently you know that's unreasonable.
