Kings Ridge Golf Club - Kings Course

About
A Lloyd Clifton creation of Kings Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole beauty and Lake County's best-kept secret. Great greens, severe elevation changes, and well-placed hazards will keep you focused on this course. By focusing on the importance of playability, aesthetics and maintenance, Clifton has captured the natural beauty of the area. It is "thinker's course" where players have an opportunity to use every club in the bag.
King's Ridge opened a second 18-hole course in 2002. The new Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is a Par 57, 3660-yard course designed by Ron Garl, making this an ideal location for your 36-hole day.

Good conditions and will get better
I've played Kings Ridge before and I really like the course. A local told me there had been some damage from the hurricane but there has been steady improvement. I have to agree. There are some lingering effects but it's still a nice place to play. My only negative is their tee times are every 7 minutes. If you play frequently you know that's unreasonable.
Great day for golf
Course was in pretty good shape. I'm used to more finely cut tees, fairways and greens back home, so a little adjustments here and there were necessary. All-in- all, it was a great day for golf.
A good course at the right price for Feb.
I enjoyed playing King Ridge championship course with my friends. Weather was good, staff friendly and course in good shape.
Always enjoy playing
Always enjoy playing this course. Unfortunately the greens were slow and fuzzy, which was a disappointment. Other than that, I like the course and enjoy playing there.
Nice Course
Would be a five star except for the lack of amenities..bathroom on course, but no water, and the food offerings were very limited (hot dog/chips/candy bars). Course was in good shape, especially the front nine. Back nine fairway was not in near as good shape as on the front. Most of the greens were in good shape, but they were inconsistent. We will okay again, but we will make sure to eat beforehand :)
UnMagical
After placing other courses nearby, I was looking forward to this course. Although the course conditions were very good, I thought the course bordered on dullness. The 18th hole was the only hole that offered any assemblies to nearby hilly courses.
Conditions
The course is just coming out of dormancy. Fairways were a little thin, rough was very thin. Greens were a little shaggy, and therefore a little slow. Overall, not bad for this time of year.
Greens need some work
The course layout is nice, but it needs some work. Many of the greens, especially on the back nine were in rough shape, had some patchy areas.
