Kings Ridge Golf Club - Ridge Course
About
The Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole executive course in Clermont. The golf course was designed by Ron Garl and opened in 2002.
The golf course's panoramic views of the surrounding hills and downtown Orlando add enjoyment to the challenge of the water hazards, precise landing areas, well protected multi-tiered greens, pot bunkers, grassy hollows and deep Bahia grass roughs.

Ok executive course
The pro shop at the executive course was closed and according to the locals that were there it hadn't been opened for a three or more days. So we had to drive back to the main course clubhouse to check in then drive your golf car thru the community to get to the course. About the course, I played the back tees and it was some what challenging but not overly so. The greens were ok but a little slow. Only one hole with water to carry though there were a lot of sand traps. The traps were in good shape. Overall not a bad course to work on irons but the unavailability of pro shop was a determent in rating this course.
Great little course
As usual this is a very nice executive course. Unfortunately after 1:00 pm and sometimes after 12 noon you have to book in at the main course and then drive golf cart up too the Ridge Course.
The person at the guard house is suppose to tell you when you have to book in at the main pro shop but unfortunately doesn’t inform you.
Played twice this year and plan on heading back. Tee boxes is great shape and the greens are the nicest I have been on here in Fla. Ken
Not your typical Executive course. A lot of challenging holes. Some elevation changes.
Would not play this course again
We did not realise when we booked this course that it was not Kings Ridge and that the executive course was little more than a par 3 course suitable for beginners. We arrived 30 mins before our tee time but were not allowed to book in until our tee time even though the man new that we were a two ball and all those in front were four balls and had not yet arrived. The facilities were extremely poor. Following us were 3 sets of two balls and knowing how slow the play was going to be we should have been paired up. We did offer the pair behind to play with us but they preferred to play on their own probably because they New the course and were possibly beginners or new to the game.
I believe it should have been made very clear that this was a par 3 course 15 par 3’s and 3 par 4’s. We would never have played this course had we known this and would not have paid $60 for the two of us.
Fun golf course
This is the third time playing this course. Have played it the last three Friday’s. It’s just a fun course to play. This course offers great golf for all skill levels and will test your abilities to hit the ball well.
Good short for practice
Pace was good. Players were friendly. Excellent value. A great way to spend three hours. I play here once every week.
Great little course
Great course to practice your short game. Have been playing here for over seven (7) years. Use to drive up to 40 minutes to get to this course but over the last three years we are only ten (10) minutes away.
Very good condition. Greens could use some rolling though.
Slow play . Not too friendly.
We played a 2some . Backed up ahead of us . The staff was not helpful in giving directions . And they locked the on course restrooms with a coded keylock and didn't give us the code .
Kings Ridge Executive Course review
Awesome Executive course. The layout was really good. The greens were very nice. The tee boxes are in mid summer condition. I will play again -for sure. However - we went to the pro shop for the Executive course - and found out it was closed. We had to go to the other pro shop and check in - then drive our cart back to the other pro shop to start our round. It would have been nice to know this in advance.

Best executive gem I ever had the pleasure of playing. To me, it has all your short game will ever need.
no common courtesy
we live 1 hour away and weather was fine when we left cold 55 degrees but sun shinning and soft breeze,
When we got there at 11:00 our tee time. It was raining and very windy and 49 degrees. The course is elevated. The golf shop was closed so we had to get the cart from their other course about 1/2 mile away and drive the cart to our course, We were soaking wet by the time we drove their. We called the shop at 11:23 to see if a raincheck was possible Was told no. Conditions were fine and there was another couple that went out at the same time and they had no complaints, Believe me he had no clue what the conditions were he never left the warm dry shop. An d we never saw any other people on our course or on the regular one There was no place to get in out of the cold rain because the golf shop was closed. I could not even sit in my car because we had to park at the other course. I wish I had taken pictures of the conditions, flag poles bending etc. because when they asked the man in the shop he said the conditions were a little wet with slight breeze. How he would know in a warm shop I don't know At 75 years old it is not worth getting sick Not to mention the money,
Kings Ridge lookin good
Best round on KR exec (ridge) course in years.
Condition of the greens and tee boxes was great.
Very fun course easy to get around
