Kings Ridge Golf Club - Ridge Course

About
The Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole executive course in Clermont. The golf course was designed by Ron Garl and opened in 2002.
The golf course's panoramic views of the surrounding hills and downtown Orlando add enjoyment to the challenge of the water hazards, precise landing areas, well protected multi-tiered greens, pot bunkers, grassy hollows and deep Bahia grass roughs.

Holiday week
Overall a nice Executive course. Unfortunately they had a scramble that was not advertised so we only played 9. Slow to go.
KR2
very interesting layout, lots of up & downs, greens are fair, fairways need some love
Longest cart ride
Having a reservation for The Ridge Course, upon entering Kings Ridge we followed great signage to the Ridge Course, and a building adorned with large, bold "Pro Shop" lettering across the front. Thankfully we ran into Nick because (honest to God) that's NOT the clubhouse. Somehow, we were supposed to know to go to the clubhouse of the other 18 at Kings Ridge, check in and pick up a cart there, and then drive (1.5 miles) back to the Ridge Course. There are road maps in the main clubhouse showing how to get to the other course, so apparently it is an ongoing issue.
what happened to the greens?
We play this course often it is my wife's favourite course. Been playing this course for 12 years and have never seen the greens in such poor condition. Budget issues?? Hope this is a one of thing. Will try again later
tres bon qualité, prix
the first 9 holes fairways and green bad condition, Back 9 is better
Great layout, but
This course could potentially be a great exec option for the area. However, it appears management isn't too interested in maintaining it at a enjoyable level. The tee boxes and fairways are mostly good although the whole course is looking like it's in desperate need of watering. The greens were brown, very fast and had some nasty pin locations, especially #10.. We live nearby so my wife and I will be back but we're hoping they green the course up soon
Rough shape
Normally a fun par 3 course with nice elevation changes, but it’s in terrible condition. Greens and tee boxes need a lot of work. Greens have more weeds and bare spots than grass.
Beautiful Executive Course
Beautiful little executive course. Challenging par 3s and a few par 4 holes mixed in. Played during overseeing season but the course was still in excellent shape. Lots of elevation changes and challenging approach angles. Will definitely play here again!
