Legends Golf & Country Club offers an 18-hole championship course that has become one of the most popular golf courses in central Florida. The course features dramatic elevation changes, which allow golfers to take in breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and citrus groves. Legends Golf & Country Club is known for its par-3 holes, but one of the most memorable holes is the par-4 fifth hole. The hole is a downhill dogleg left with an elevated tee that provides a spectacular view. Legends Golf & Country Club has a classic, moderately difficult layout that is difficult if approached too casually but also quite playable, even from the championship tees.

When we called and asked about course conditions and greens, we were told the course was in great shape and that the greens “are the best greens in FL right now”. The description of the greens was a far stretch but we did enjoy the course and course conditions were very good. Geens were not as fast as we would like, however, they were nice(8/10). Overall a very good deal for the $38 we paid at teeoff.com.

Great course for the money

I found the course on GolfNow and was surprised to find it after being in the area for sometime and never hearing about it. I gave it a try and found a pleasant surprise. It is great course in great condition for a reasonable price. There was hardly anyone there which made the round that much better because I was able to really scope out the course. Definitely a course I will be playing again.

Note: the gentleman at the clubhouse who helped me also let me know that they were planning to punch the greens next week so if that is an issue to you you may want to wait a bit before making your way out there.

Great course friendly staff nice layout. Only down and was not a huge issue was they had aerated. the greens recently but they are starting to fill in. Was not a real huge issue but I am sure they were a bit slower than usual. Will be back to play again and look forward to a faster green but it was a good day!!!

Played Legends before years ago first time back sense they reopened was curious how it looked I don’t live on the area if I did would probably play it a few more time it looked good greens not as fast as I thought it might be overall course was ok but was expecting from the reviews it to be awesome it’s not a $80 course more a $40/50 I’m not bashing it everything was fine it’s the same layout as before nothing was changed on the holes after my round had lunch in the clubhouse the food was really good if u come you’ll enjoy it just get a deal on GolfNow got mine for $40 as always fellow golfers hit fairways and greens and have fun

Legends is a great course that is fun to play. The course was in great shape. The greens were a tad slow, but they rolled nice.
