About
Legends Golf & Country Club offers an 18-hole championship course that has become one of the most popular golf courses in central Florida. The course features dramatic elevation changes, which allow golfers to take in breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and citrus groves. Legends Golf & Country Club is known for its par-3 holes, but one of the most memorable holes is the par-4 fifth hole. The hole is a downhill dogleg left with an elevated tee that provides a spectacular view. Legends Golf & Country Club has a classic, moderately difficult layout that is difficult if approached too casually but also quite playable, even from the championship tees.

One of the best I've played this year
We played in a group of 24. Play was a little slow, but that was because of the number of groups. Great course and look forward to playing it again next yeat.

Reinstatement
An excellent mid Florida course with rolling hills and
well manicured greens with a picturesque layout. Every hole has character and is bountiful with degrees of difficulty.
Water comes into play at opportune moments increasing difficulty in approach .
The course seems to favor the power fade but any nonchalance will bite you. The course is tree lined and muscular and favors the long hitter’.
The greens were fast and true.

Ok but I would not rush back
Very slow for 14 holes when others gave up and started leaving after that it improved....
Would have been a 4 45 round
Greens pretty good. The rest just a bit boring

Slow.....but Fun!
We waited on just about every hole to hit our shots. The ranger did not seem to care to speed up the players in front of us.
Course was in great condition.

Nice course quite hilly
After all the rain I expected to be wading through mud but it was fine. A little wet in places but no problems. The greens were surprisingly quick and quite difficult to read. The cart man and the starter were great explaining the layout. The cart had GPS which was a bonus. A nice day out.

The “exception” from regular Florida courses!
I highly recommend this course! For Florida the elevation changes were unexpected but Great! Loved the greens and tee boxes! Fairways and bunkers were also well kept. ProShop and Starters were friendly and informed. The restaurant food was really good and our waitress was fast and friendly! I will definitely be back to play it again.
Nice local golf course
Heard lots of very positive comments from other golfers but my assessment was the course was just OK. The roughs were in marginal condition. Some of the fairways still need work to get them in quality condition. So I would definitely try it again

Legends in Clermont
Course was in really great shape. Greens fast, firm and rolled true. Players feel we are in covid days still as they did not rake the bunkers.
Was allowed to starte a little ealry and made good time until hole 13. The group in front was well behind pace at this point. Ranger seen a couple times.
Overall I will play this course again.

Enjoyed the play
They added a player to our group who was in the wheel of our scoring. Like the layout of the course with some up and down fairways which were in great shape. Greens were great, one or two a little sand crane picked, but overall very good. They do a great job keeping the course in shape. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We will return.
