Legends Golf & Country Club offers an 18-hole championship course that has become one of the most popular golf courses in central Florida. The course features dramatic elevation changes, which allow golfers to take in breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and citrus groves. Legends Golf & Country Club is known for its par-3 holes, but one of the most memorable holes is the par-4 fifth hole. The hole is a downhill dogleg left with an elevated tee that provides a spectacular view. Legends Golf & Country Club has a classic, moderately difficult layout that is difficult if approached too casually but also quite playable, even from the championship tees.

Scruffy Gem
We played this course for the first time on a Thursday at 1pm and we had the course to ourselves. The condition of the course is excellent in the important places tee boxes, fairways and greens were first class. It is the most hilly course we have played in Florida which I think creates a problem for them when the rains come. This is where some parts of the course when it’s dry look scruffy.
The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was nice

An almost 5 hour round. Unacceptable. Put a damper on an excellent round of golf. The greens are some of the best I’ve played.

$2 Million in Renovations???
Very excited to play this course with the recent news of a $2M renovation.
I arrived, checked in at the pro shop and made my way to the 1st tee.
All the teeing area and fairway had lines in the sod ?
The rough was just a weed infestation areas hole after hole.
The greens were just recently sprayed with a green spray paint to make them look good.
The current condition of this course is a JOKE! Effective use of water and weed control in the rough areas are needed ASAP.
The HOA can't be pleased with how the course looks or plays.
Do yourself a favor and PASS on this course. This is the WORST condition course I have played in my entire life.

Great greens.....everything else...ehhh.
The course has gone downhill since it reopened. The greens were good, the fairways were just disc'd / aerated. The rough was pretty thin and bare. For $67 it is not really worth it until they get the grass growing again.

Freshly sowed
Played 2 weeks ago and it was beautiful. Played yesterday and course played horribly. Every fairway looked like it was freshly sowed for planting. Some tee boxes and fairways were also filled with green dirt to give the appearance of looking better than it was. I’ll be back but not for a few weeks until it’s back to proper conditions
