Legends Golf & Country Club

My son Adam and I had a great time playing on Memorial day. Like the course layout and was in good shape.

First time on this course. Staff was very friendly and answered all questions and gave us some pointers on the layout. The greens had been aeriated and sanded a few weeks before and rolled very smooth. Loved the scenic views. Would have given it 5 stars if the rough was in slightly better condition. It did require more course management to get around, which made for a challenging round. Will definitely play again when we are in the area. Great alternative to the more expensive resort courses and worth the short drive from the Winter Garden area.

We played Legends a few times over the years and were disappointed when it closed but welcomed the opportunity to try it out after it re-opened. We were not disappointed and the course remains a good test with some excellent holes and in pretty good shape on tees, fairways and greens - some of the other areas need a bit of work but guess you should not be playing from them! A nice welcome from the cart guy and shop although the starter was disappointingly grumpy and urged us to get to the start or we would lose our slot despite there being 2 parties on the first tee already!! Unfortunately one of these groups was a very slow 4-ball who held us up all the way round. Well worth the visit and good value.

Played Legends on 17/5. Good layout.

Had been recommended to me for great greens but they had been sanded and very difficult to put on.

The part we didn’t like was the fact was the minute you were off the fairway you were hitting from weeds not grass. Made it very difficult to play from.

Kudos to the team for bringing this course back. Great track that is fun to play and challenges your skills. Located in Clermont so it has topography. Worth the trip. Not far from Disney.

It looks so much better than a couple of years ago & we will be back in November to play it again

They were at 11.5 on the greens. Speedy. But I can’t complain. They rolled true.

We played this course for the first time on a Thursday at 1pm and we had the course to ourselves. The condition of the course is excellent in the important places tee boxes, fairways and greens were first class. It is the most hilly course we have played in Florida which I think creates a problem for them when the rains come. This is where some parts of the course when it’s dry look scruffy.

The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was nice

An almost 5 hour round. Unacceptable. Put a damper on an excellent round of golf. The greens are some of the best I’ve played.

For $80 a round I expected a lot more for my money. OCN is the same price and in much better condition.
