Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club - South Course

Both the North Course and South Course are great values and well maintained. I think these courses are two of the best north of Tampa.

Elevation changes, great views, course reminds me more of something you would see in New England than Florida.

Although it's more expensive than what I am accustomed to paying, it's a challenging and wonderful golf course with a great layout, with lot of bunkers, particularly in the fairways. Well maintained with a very friendly and accommodating staff. Will certainly play again, in the very near future.

Always known for the fastest greens around. Rock hard. Lots of areas lacked water, though. Usually in a bit better shape. Played the North course the week before, and it was in better shape. The greens make it worth it, however.

The course is in good enough shape, but 70 dollars is ridiculous. There are plenty of other courses for much less money that are just as nice. It's also in the middle of nowhere. Worldwoods in Brooksville is in the middle of nowhere and a much, much better course. Also, we teed of over 40 mins past our tee time because of such slow play.

Great layout, but poorly maintained. Go play a Muni somewhere for way less money and probably in better shape.

North course was challenging but fair. Greens were in excellent
shape and fast. Need to play more than once to know where not to hit your drives as score card diagrams don't show hidden hazards.

Course was in great shape , especially the greens.

This is one of the most beautiful courses I have ever played on. Quite challenging and fun. South course was in immaculate shape. Groups were well space apart so there was not any significant waits on the tees. Definitely would play this one again. Only downside was that there was no beverage cart or snack bar in operation that day. No food or drink save for some water coolers on a few holes.

Course lay out is one of the best in Florida. The course was in very good shape. The greens were fast. Service was cordial and friendly. Pace of play was terrible. The round was 5 hrs.

Back 9 scenic and open. !st hole too tight for an opening hole. The greens are so fast as to alter the putting stroke from a stroke to a touch.

The condition of the course is excellent. It needs a little bit of additional care in some areas around several greens, but other than that it was a great experience.

I have wanted to play there after hearing great things for a few years. Finally played the South Course New Years Eve. Wow! I was shocked at how wonderful of a place it is. The greens were as fast as any I have played. Everything was in great shape. Wonderful experience and will definitely be going back. PGA course feel from the back tees.

Really enjoyable course this time of year. Have played in summer as well and courses are always in generally great shape. We played the south course on this December Thursday. The pace of play was great, the greens were excellent, and rolled at a fast pace. Really helpful people in pro shop.

Best in the area overall condition, greens, traps, and tee boxes.

I have been visiting this course since the temporary pro shop.I enjoy the hill's and design.I may not afford the club house but as a guest will sample a beer or two.I'll be back ! Hopefully this long hitting 20 hdcp. may be a 9 hdcp. One more thing beware of fast putting condition's..

This course will remind you of a North Carolina course. The views are great, the course was in good shape, the greens were rolling very fast and true so this is a must play.
