About
Carved from a forest of pines and winding through wetlands and lagoons, St. Johns Golf & Country Club offers a scenic 18-hole round located between St. Augustine and Jacksonville. The course features tree-lined fairways and large, fast greens. There is also the occasional two-tiered green to look out for. Water hazards come into play throughout and there are several well-placed bunkers. Depending on how the wind is blowing, the course can range from being gentle to very demanding. Six sets of tees make the course accessible to players of all skill levels. In addition to the course, St. Johns Golf & Country Club also offers extensive practice facilities including a 10,000 sq. foot putting green, chipping green, and a double-sided driving range.

Best course in Jacksonville
Best course in Jacksonville. St. Johns Golf in Country in Club is a beautiful place to play golf they keep it in immaculate condition and the people there are very nice I would recommend it to anyone to play this course
The best courses in Saint Johns County.
The course condition was excellent and the greens were fast and smooth. Staff on the course and amenity center were professional, courteous, and friendly. You will enjoy playing this course at a very reasonable price. Great value.
Loved the course but plays long on this 80 year old guy!
Plays long but course is well maintained . Greens are fast but good for me. I wish i could afford to play here more but limited by fixed income.
Excellent Golf
Saint johns golf and country club is the best golf for the money in Jacksonville. it is an excellent course. perfectly maintained. nice people. I will continue to golf there as often as I can. I love this course.

Phenomenal place to play golf
Tee to green course conditions are great. A little wet in some areas but that’s Florida in the summer. Cart staff friendly, pro shop staff is great, and bar staff phenomenal too. I got the mahi tacos after a solid round of golf and they were beyond tasty. Can’t wait to come back already!
Great course
Only one issue with this course. There are no water coolers or ice for this course. If your reasons are pandemic related, then all rakes should be removed and the no touch mandate of the flagsticks should be part of your restrictions as well. Let’s be consistent so that it fits your narrative. There was only one beverage cart for both sides in the 94 degree heat.
Well designed course
The only negative to our round was the course was quite wet. Therefore, it was cart path only.
Fun, challenging course
The course is in great condition. Greens rolled well. There’s some tough, narrow holes on this course. I look forward to playing it again.

Ron and Mike were very helpful. Ron met us with a cart while we were walking from the parking lot, carrying our bags. Mike did a great job making sure we had everything we needed. Ron even brought balls to the range because we couldn't get enough from the Pro Shop. Both were conversational, polite and professional.
Well worth playing
I was in St Augustine for the weekend and TPC Sawgrass Stadium course was $300 - $400+ to play so I came across this gem. This course was difficult. It had some tight fairways, plenty of water and sand. What made it more difficult was the fact there were storms rolling through around the area and the wind was a 2-3 club difference. The pace of play on the front 9 was very slow which was a surprise because the starters emphasized 2 hours max per nine and if you were not keeping pace, the ranger would move you along. That did not happen Due to the storms, the back 9 was empty! I will play this course again.
