Chestatee Golf Club

Our round at Chestatee was almost perfect. Pace of play was the only issue as this became a 4:40 round. Conditions, layout and staff were fantastic as always, just need to tighten up on slow play.

Course is in really good shape and love the layout. Played in the just under 4 hours on a Sunday, bonus!

Course was in good shape. Greens are great! Although a little slower ( 10 or 11) than usual ( 11-12) but smooth . Pace of play is good! Accommodating Staff! All around good track. Enjoyable. An all around “Gem” for the money’.!

Only drawback for me was that you don’t make the turn to the back side at the clubhouse, but they did have a beverage cart on the course! Not a huge deal but worth mention!

I definitely will be back . Would love to play the greens rolling a quick , smooth (13) on the Stimp….. hint…hint? Lol. Book a Tee Time. You won’t be disappointed!!!!!

Chestatee has a fun layout with a good mix of challenging and forgiving holes that puts potential to score well out there. Some blind tee shots and dog legs, but not too many and made up for by the holes that are wide open. Undulation can make for a challenge from the fairways, but not unfairly. Greens were in great shape and running at moderate pace, but tend to run a little on the slow side. Staff is friendly. Range flips between mats and grass. Short game facility is small but accurate to course conditions. Definitely worth the rate.

Layout was unbelievable and the greens were perfect condition. Fairways were awesome Gran number nine was the best hole ever!!!

Wonderful course all around and the greens are rolling pure and true. The staff was super friendly and helpful. If you visit which i highly suggest you do, try the Wing’s!!! Just off 400 near the outlets in Dawsonville

Course is really getting in good shape. Fairways are hard because of lack of rain but greens and course looks good. Greens were running a little slow but very true. A little rain and this course will be in pristine condition. Pace of play was awesome and rangers were out there and very friendly. Enjoyed a great golf day, highly recommend!!!

My home course was having a Member/Member so I needed another place to play. I used to play Chestatee a lot 15- 20 years ago. It's still a great layout. 8, 9, 10 are 3 really tough holes and can blow up your round if you aren't playing your best...I doubled all 3 and #3 but still ended up with 87 so not too bad on the other holes.

Chestatee is always a fun place to play. Despite being on a weekend, we buzzed around in 3.45 hours and the course was in solid shape. Greens rolled true and accepted good shots only complaint was the bunkers needing more sand.

One of the best public courses in atlanta. Great condition.
