Golfing Gecko
Course conditions were very good. Seeing some nice changes in taking down trees and opening it up to find some errant shots. Finally planting sod in bare spots. I’ll be back. Keep making those improvements!
A good course should have a good driving range
I've played Chestatee several times and always have fun and the course is usually very good, but never have I commented on the range...
It stinks!
It's been "irons only" most times I've been there; the first hole is a big, wide par 5, but Chestatee isn't the easiest course off the tee, and most players want to know the status of their long game prior to teeing off...just saying.
The putting green is pretty good.
The course is very nice.
Very Unfriendly Staff
Upon checking in for tee time "gentleman" behind the counter wasn't interested in anything other than his phone, which most would find very rude. I certainly did. Have been playing this course since it opened and seems as if it is an inconvenience to them for people to come play an over priced round of golf. Not to mention range balls used to be included now they are almost as much as a cart fee. Speaking of cart fee, the cart in which we had , had two bald tires one of which was completely flat by hole 16. Also the "starter" was very rude as well. Maintenance staff also saw it fit to continue to mow fringe around the green while we played our approach shots and even as we putted out. Total ridiculous! I guess wanting to play a round of golf with my father will have to be done elsewhere next time as I don't feel there is much reason to be treated so poorly by these "folks"
Course in great shape
All aspects of the course - tee box, fairway, greens were in good shape. The bunkers were wet due to overnight rain which was expected. Lot of up hill and down hill play which I like.
Country golf club
Course was good, staff was friendly and everything was okay but our front of the group so so slow we finished playing first 9holes extremely slow
Very good condition.
Great day on the course. Wondering why there were two starters? After checking in with both starters, a twosome teed off at exactly our tee time in front of us. ?

Slow greens. Really slow. But in good condition.
Chestatee work the drive
Only complaint is the difficult tee shots. Straight works all day. Slightly off on 5-6 holes and just go ahead and hit another one. Because youre not finding it. So definitely a test but also has spots that are easy and balances it all out. Good course
