Course
Nice course and good place to play. Need to make driving range better and tee boxes as well some weren’t in great shape.
The staff, and the course were exceptional. Especially for the money, the course was in great shape. They were very welcoming to me, even though I was a single. Most places wouldn’t let me on.
Great place….
People and course are great. Some very challenging holes. Great we’re in great shape too. Driving range (mats only) isn’t the best, but acceptable…
Good overall outing
Many of the holes on this course are very challenging so understanding the bailout areas are critical. Pace of play was great for the weekend and the course conditions were good overall. Even at a discount, thought the cost was on the high side when compared to comparable courses
Chestatee
Very nice course, but not in good shape. Greens were slow, and fairways beat up. Pretty course, though.
Fun times
Great day on the course. No sand in the right greenside bunker on #8. Looks like great sand but ground is just white and it is hard clay so surprise after you hit! haha Grass starting to come in good and greens are healed although they are still slow and bumpy right now. Fun to play though!
Slow
Even for a Sunday it was extreemly slow and I mean 5.5 hours! Waiting 4-5 min on every shot. Course totally packed. Course needs to go to 10 minute tee times or get some marshalls, we never saw one. Great course and in good shape but too busy to enjoy on the weekends.
First time at Chestatee.
Nice course. Good conditions and I love the shot making with the different elevation changes. The greens were in good shape and rolling well. Also, I liked several of the hog back ridges in the green center. Lots of fun and I will be back.
Great course
Challenging but rewarding course. Lots of hills and undulations which makes a lot of your shots tricky but really fun. Will be back
