Nice Course
Course was in good shape and pace of play was good despite a crowded course
Great Greens!
The course is in great shape and the greens are fast and smooth. Enjoyed the course very much! Friendly staff!!
Good all round
Great weather for mid February, 4hr 10min for a Cart Path only round. Good company. Course is interesting, well designed, challenging in parts, superb views in others, a little damp in places (but it is mid Feb!). Good value if you pick the right tee time.
Nice course
All well except shop attendant would not allow driving single during pandemic even after I offered to pay for extra cart. I’m 66 and have elderly living with us, it was highly risky for me riding with another person.
Fun course
Good pace of play (due to cold weather), nice layout
Overall
Course is not in great shape. Used to be one the premier golf courses in north Georgia and loved playing here. Greens are riddled with disease and divot repairs and terrible cup replacements. No ranger for pace of play. I hate to see the course going downhill because it has possibly the best layout around. Hopefully they get this fixed for summer.

Closed due to limited golfers?
It is sunny today with a high temperature of 46 degrees. I knew it was going to be chilly and still damp when I made my prepaid tee time. Chestatee sent an email last night saying they decided to close the course because it had rained recently, it was cold and most importantly, they didn’t have many golfers. They didn’t bother notifying GolfNow so I had to call GolfNow and wait on hold while they confirmed with Chestatee that they were closed. GolfNow says I should get a refund within 3-5 business days. I understand it was going to be a slow day but if Chestatee doesn’t want to stay open when there aren’t many golfers, perhaps they should avoid selling prepaid tee times.
Great Course during the week!
I love playing this track because I always think next time will be a lower score. On the weekends it takes 5 hours and weekdays around lunch 3.5-4 hours. Course was in pretty good shape considering the weather.
Great layout and course
We play 12-15 times a year We enjoy the layout and course conditions
