Overall the best course Conditions out of the 5 or 6 I’ve played this winter

Well worth playing. Beautiful course. Will play it again.

Doesn’t drain well... hasn’t rained in a couple of days and was still very sloppy wet in most places. Pace of play was terrible. Finished in 4:45 min. Also teed off 15 min after our original tee time. They have two options of range bag sizes. One is a small with 15 balls in it and then the other is a huge bag for like 500 bucks. Way over priced.

Not playing this course very often makes the greens especially tough to read, but they roll for miles and they roll true! The course is in great shape and on a clear Winter's day the views are spectacular! We played a couple days after significant rain and there was some mud in the low spots, but nothing crazy. This is definitely a Winter play!

The club pro came out and said the course wasn’t going to open. This is my third attempt to get a refund or rain check.

enjoyed the course, nice variety in hole layout. Greens were great but I found them very difficult to read. Would need to play it a few more times to learn some of the nuances of the greens and some of the blind shot targets.

My wife and I have played Chestatee many times and have always enjoyed it. Saturday our tee time was 1:06 and arrived at #1 only to find it backed up. That was the story all day. We found out later in our round we were behind the last group of a 14 group tournament. We finally skipped #16 passing two groups just to finish before dark. If you are booking a round, ask about what’s going on. No one from the club house to the starter gave a heads up.

Can’t wait until next spring/summer to play this course again.

It was a great round The only suggestion for improvement would be to better manage the water retention in the bunkers. Many of them were unplayable due to several inches of water.

Beautiful course in mountains. A bit of a drive but well worth it. Course was in great shape, greens best I’ve seen in a long time.

Great track. Course in excellent shape for late November

It was cool when we teed off but warmed up to be a perfect day for golf. Course conditions were good, especially the greens which were firm but receptive and had some good pace. They were quicker than the last couple of times at the course and rolled very well. Saw the beverage cart 3 times in our round which is nice as the course doesn't go back to the clubhouse at the turn. Pace of play was good even though we were a twosome playing behind a threesome. We played in 3:45. The staff was friendly and courteous. One of my favorite courses in the metro area.

Played on a great fall day. Greensand fairways were nicely manicured. Did a good job clearing leafs.
