Chestatee Golf Club

I found the clubhouse closed as well as the course when I got there. I had checked my e-mails before leaving home and didn't have any notice of this. I did receive an e-mail from Golf Now while on my way, reminding me of my tee-time in 29 minutes. The weather was dry and 59 degrees. This is the second time this has happened to me at this course. It was a big waste of my time and gas!

Super nice gents in the clubhouse and cart pick up area. Beautiful course. Can’t wait to go when everything greens in.

Excellent greens. More flowers and you'd think you were at the Master's.

Everyone gets their own previously disinfected cart, social distancing is easy to accomplish and the pace of play was great. Foursome played in 3:50. Greens were fast and the fairways were firm.

Be sure to check before booking if they are conforming to covid 19 guidelines such as everyone having their own cart

Great course with a really solid mix of holes. Greens were pure and rolling very well. The course was just starting to turn green a bit.

Scenic, challenging and a quality golf course! One of my north Georgia favorites.

For the time of year everything was very good. Not a lot of green color anywhere but what do you expect. As usual staff is very friendly and informative. Cannot wait to play here when spring comes on. Pretty long holes on the back nine and plenty elevated holes. Bring a good game..not an easy course by any means.

If you throw out all of the typical winter golf stereotypes, then the course was in great condition. I play 4-5 rounds at Chestatee each year. Always enjoy the course and the layout. Not the most challenging course out there, but it definitely makes you hit some high quality shots, especially from the back tees. Pace of play has never been an issue for me, probably due to their location. The only downside of Chestatee is how far outside of the city it is.

With that being said though, I got this round for a $28 hot deal, which is a great price no matter the time of year. Will continue to return to Chestatee.

Another round at Chestatee on a beautiful short sleeve round in mid-December. Surprisingly not very busy. Some green issues and sand traps definitely need attention but hey it is December. Love the layout of course, find it to be fairly difficult with elevated tees and some uphill long holes. Look forward to playing when conditions improve next year. Great carts, hospitality,and friendliness of staff.

Beautiful course that meanders thru Chesatee neighborhood. Lot of different looks from tee boxes with various elevations that requires you to make good club selections. Very well maintained course, very friendly staff that are knowledgeable and helpful for first time players. The electric carts are the best carts I have had the pleasure to use, very user friendly. I will return soon as I only live 13 miles away. Great day of Golf.

I’ve played a few times here later in the day. Sometimes I’m one of the few people out there, other times a little more busy. You can usually get a very good price for later in the day, especially compared to some of the horrible courses nearby for the same price. Course has always been in very good condition. Playing later, I’ve never been in the clubhouse as it looks close by the time I’m done. Also the turn is nowhere near the club house so don’t expect to be able to pickup food or drink after 9. That is probably the only negative.

Greens were ariated couple weeks ago but not

bad. Couple were patchy. Other than that course

was in great shape
