About
Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

Not Bad
The last time I played this course was over 20 years ago. I was interested in seeing its condition after these years. For the price, it was a great experience. This is a 9 holes course that you play it twice from a different tee, this made it interesting and felt like you are playing different holes the second time around. The greens were fuzzy, it seemed that they did not cut it that day, it was difficult to get used to it. The experience was not bad. The course has its charm with the ski school and their practice activity. I will not invite my friends to play there, the course is 23 miles away from my house and I am the closest to it by 25 miles, but I do not mind going there again if I am playing by myself and looking for something different at a good price. I had fun playing there even though I did not score well.
Where is the water??
No water to drink on the course, no drink cart, no warning signs!! It hit 91 and we we had to stop playing to go get a drink.
9 fun holes.
You play 9 holes relatively short. Then, if you like, the same 9 from different tees. 130 yard par 3's become 185 yard par 3's. Some par 4's on the first nine are par 5's on the back.
SF is a little scrappy. Different parts could be better maintained, but there's sand in the bunkers, and mowed grass on the fairways. The greens are a bit slower but roll true.
At +-$30 for 18 with a cart, it's a good course to smack it around or sharpen your game without losing every ball in the bag.
Great people! We got matched up with 2 awesome people. Greens were a little rough but to be expected it is still winter.

Rude and sexist starter, desk personnel were fine
Old man needs to treat female golfers with a little more respect and lay off the sexist attitude. Very offended and will not return until you all learn some respect and courtesy. I almost throttled him, he embarrassed me and my friends. For all women golfers make sure you drag a male with you otherwise get ready for the "ATTITUDE". Definitely a "good ole boys club. Choose your courses carefully.
9-hole course
When booking tee time, there was no information that this is now a 9-hole course! This would have been useful information to have when booking!

Recommend at least one round, 9 holes and you pick the tees.
