Swiss Fairways Golf Course
About
Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

204 yard (blue tee) Par three third hole Photo submitted by Edpro on 07/08/2013
We liked it!
Reviews have always been mediocre on this course, but recently had gotten much better so we checked it out. Check-in process was odd (had to wait for some unknown reason), but once we got on the course, we liked it. Greens are good, bunkers are good but no rakes for some reason, carts were very good. Prepare to wait on the second hole, a par 3 over water, but after that pace of play was good. Fortunately we played with someone who knew the course, at times it was difficult to tell where you should be going. New owner has definitely put some big money in, and it should get even better. Bonus, you can see some intense water skiing while you're there. Give this a try, I think you'll enjoy it.
Enjoyed the day
Good day played 18 in 3 1/2 hrs. Fairways and Greens were in good shape as per other courses in the area.
It's beens over 2 years......
since we've played at Swiss. The last time was terrible, course was overgrown, firways were "holey', we did not enjoy so we left. The 6th hole was the worst. Read reviews that said the course has changed, improved and under new management. jToday, we were pleasantly surprised, the course looked really great!! The Tee boxes had no weeds, the fairways were so green and actually nice to look at. We enjoyed playing today and will be back.
Best Regenerated Course in the area
Swiss continues to improve and is now one of my favorite courses in the area. The time and money they’ve put into the course is really showing
In good shape
This course has improved a lot over the last 4 years.
great shape
Been playing here once or twice a winter for 25 years, best shape it's ever been. worth the drive and price!
Pro shop
Pro shop has better selection than Dicks sporting goods. Course is great to play will def play again
Golf
Great course kept up well. Very friendly staff.
Will definitely go back.
Much improved
Compared to previous year .... no comparison. Always has been a fun layout but now conditions have improved immensely.
Make tee time 1 hour before you want to play
This course overbooks AND does not have enough golf carts. As a result, both times we played it there were at least 9 foursomes waiting for carts and to tee off. Both times we didn’t get out onto the course until 1 1/4 hours after our reserved tee time. As a result, both times we were unable to finish our round. The pro shop won’t even let you check in until a cart is available for the most delayed tee time so you end up standing around for an hour along with all the other foursomes that are delayed before you can even check in. Not worth the cost which is equivalent to other nice courses in the area that don’t overbook and are better run so that you can at least finish your round.
Have played here twice this year and it is in excellent shape. I would highly recommend it
