Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

The course was in good shape. It was a cool morning so tee times got backed up. So there was waiting at tee box frequently. On windy days the second hole is always difficult.

SHASHI60 It's beens over 2 years...... 02/24/2021 - Verified Purchase Handicap: 15-19 Plays: A few times a week Recommend since we've played at Swiss. The last time was terrible, course was overgrown, firways were "holey', we did not enjoy so we left. The 6th hole was the worst. Read reviews that said the course has changed, improved and under new management. jToday, we were pleasantly surprised, the course looked really great!! The Tee boxes had no weeds, the fairways were so green and actually nice to look at. We enjoyed playing today and will be back."

Beware

Booked hot deal 715am, showed up at 700am, was told I would have to wait to go out at 830am with a shotgun group of 60 players, all are over 55 years old. Pace was very slow. Greens are 6/10 shape. Pro shop is a trailer that smells like wet dog, looks like they let the family per roam around the property. Save your money and go to Kings Ridge.
