Mt. Woodson Golf Club is one of San Diego County's most popular courses for a number of reasons, one being the spectacular setting. Nestled in the Ramona Valley, the course is sprawls across a dramatic landscape of towering oak trees, enormous granite boulders, and sparkling blue lakes. Nearly every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding mountains and canyons. It is also known for being one of the most challenging and well maintained layouts in the area. The tight fairways and small greens demand accuracy. There are also plenty of interesting elevation changes throughout. The golf course offers true target-style golf that will test the shot-making abilities of even the most experienced players. One of the most unique features of the course is the 450-foot wooden bridge that winds through the treetops.

The course has pushing unreasonable

We had a 11:20 am tea time, ending on 3:30 pm

The staff was push us on hole 9 to rush move quick

our team 4 players still wait for the from team to finished their game. We can't go faster to skip hole

Second time, the stuff pushed us at hole 16 to rush up to the front team since their team still not finished and no any other team behind us.

We asked the men to check and tell the front team to speed up and he just take off and go.. I don't how to tell this impress that I got here for first time play,

but this is my story thank you

Excellent course

Fairly tight but fair and not tricky (the pro-sheet was accurate) even for a first time playing it. Greens were good and had plenty of subtle breaks. Soft so very receptive to decent shots into the greens. Definitely need a cart as the distance between holes and the up and down terrain would make a long day walking.
