About
Heritage Harbour Golf Club (formerly known as Stoneybrook Golf Club at Heritage Harbour) plays through a landscape highlighted by mature, wooded wetland preserves and ponds. The golf course plays through spacious residential corridors, creating strategic risk/reward holes. At approximately 7,100 yards, multiple tees allow the golf course to be enjoyed by players of all abilities. The golfer who succeeds at challenging the hazards and angles will be rewarded with the proper angle for the next shot and an opportunity for a birdie. Designed by Arthur Hills, one of the world's top golf course designers, Heritage Harbour Golf Club is located just a half mile east of I-75 at exit 220.

The course was fine. Glad we didn't walk. Did have issues with golf cart. Talked with a staff member.......he said cart should have been re-programed. We ended up pushing it a couple of times. No warnings before cart shut off.

Do not pay more than $35
Just played course for the second time in 6 months and the greens have still not corrected themselves. They have a temp green on one of the holes which is just unplayable. To pay $62 for a 12pm tee time is outrageous. They need to either close the course down and fix the greens completely or start charging $30 to play there. Rest of the course is in really good shape but I would rather have nice greens and dirt fairways.

Except for 6 greens, one temporary, the course was in good condition. Greens were hard and fast
Fairways are cut too short so pitching becomes a problem
Not a fan of the new layout but certainly more player friendly

Poor Conditions
Work was being done on course. Sand on greens as well as being damaged. Temporary greens ona couple holes. Traps in poor conditions. Several fairways were being plugged. Did provide free drink coupons.

Rough shape
This course is a good layout but unfortunately the greens for the most part we're not in great shape. I've played this course many times over the years and haven't played it in several years and played it twice. Really disappointed.

Fun Round
I enjoyed my 18 holes at Heritage Harbor. The front 9 was interesting and challenging. The back 9 felt like an executive course with all the par 3's. Course was in good shape except where they had issues on a few greens. I will definitely go back again.

This course has the potential to be a lot nicer. Needs some TLC, once greens are fixed will be an amazing course.

Several of the greens were distressed or had significant bald spots.

I was opting for better
Haven’t played in two years or before the remodel, but never heard great things in the last two years. Exactly what I experienced. Terrible greens, patchy in fairways, and just overall lackluster.

Bummer
Course is a real bummer, greens are trashed sodded in parts other parts just dead and dying…. Wide fairways brutal conditions. No turn after 9

Great Staff and value for money
I always enjoy Heritage Harbour. Clubhouse facilities are fantastic with great staff. The course has a nice layout but could just do with a little tidy up. When we visit Bradenton we play like 4 rounds at $100+ then look for 2 around 40-$60. Im happy to pay $60 for heritage.

Work in progress
Really great staff, grounds and facility are beautiful, just a shame they seem to be having issues with the greens. Bare spots and weeds, hopefully they can get it under control. The cost seemed a bit high considering the course issues. The layout wasn’t bad and pace of play was great. Lots of risk reward around the course and the par 3’s all played a reasonable distance. Will play again soon if I can find a discount card or something.

Thanksgiving Eve Round
I Have played this course for many years on and off. The name changed along with the ownership. Heard they sold off the old hole one and two to developers for a hotel or condo. The course went through a renovation around that time, probably around a year or so ago. Honestly, I was hoping for a better outcome than the conditions we saw while playing. We were notified by the staff that some of the greens were under repair?! What?! They just did a renovation! There were about 5 or 6 greens that were just pitiful. Bare spots, with patches of new turf sectioned in. Some areas of the rough (near SR64) are just embarrassing. This used to be a well maintained course (no River Strand). I'm hoping they can turn things around, because the potential is definitely there.
