Waterlefe Golf & River Club

I loved the layout of this course. It is one of my favorite courses in the area. I would have rated it a 5, but the greens were a little bumpy.

Course was very wet due to rain, but was holding up pretty well. We were lucky enough to have played on day that threatened rain, which scared off most others. We mostly had the course to ourselves on a Saturday afternoon Layout is very good - challenging but playable. Will definitely go back.

This is a really nice course nestled along the Manatee river and nice homes. They have several tee boxes which accommodates long and short ball hitters. The front 9 is easier than the back which requires a little more precision shots or layups to get to the green. The fairways are free of weeds and cut nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was the greens had been recently aerated and there was no notice when I booked the round. I think Golfpass and other booking sites should have this posted. We still had a fun and enjoyed the round.

Good layout- some target golf but playable. I played during Cary path only- so in some cases I didn’t have the correct club. Overall I’d suggest playing here.

The course layout is awesome. The fairways and tee boxes were a little rough. Th overall review would have been a four but the staff in the clubhouse and bar were not very nice or pleasant. I come here to hit balls every now and then and the experience has been poor then also. This could certainly be a world class golf course. It.is a shame that the management doesn’t do a better job of training the staff in the art of customer service.

Right on the river, really nice layout, complimentary driving range balls, good restaurant/bar all around great day of golf!

This course is a very fun track to play! You can be a great to very average golfer and still have a good time. The course layout with really cool and was in great conditions for this year. Greens were a little sandy still but not bad! Overall very fun track.

My son and I got a hot deal, it’s worth it. The course was in great shape greens ran a little slow but faster than Cypress Green where we play as well as Sandpiper in sun city. The lay out was very nice some wholes were a little unfair. 14 comes to mind. Need to open up more for the approach shot.

Overall I like the course, I will be back.

Hot deal was available...so I gave Waterlefe a try. This is a magnificent course. Stunningly beautiful, very well maintained, lots of character, water everywhere. I played in 2:30 as a single. Everyone was nice. Perfect!

If it wasnt for all the rain they have had in the past weeks the rating for course conditions would have been 5 stars. Not the course managements fault. GOTTA PLAY HERE!

Great course in great condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ice and water on the course is always a nice addition. Free range balls on an aqua range beforehand. Course was a little over an hour away, but definitely worth it. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be playing here again.

Course was and always is in great condition. The layout is a bit tricky with water on many of the holes.

Great layout just a little shaggy. Needed mowing and traps were not raked.
