Waterlefe Golf & River Club

Course is well maintained. Layout provides plenty of hazards so you need to take care of your ball. If you score well you feel like you accomplished something. Don’t play the wrong tees, you don’t need to make it harder.

We come down each November to play golf and play Waterlefe every year.

Waterlefe is a great course.Nice layout,perfect conditions and very challenging.

A must play.

This place is so intriguing yet very playable, all surface are pristine, greens are fast and smooth, food and beverage is great from either the cart or the bar. High class but homey.

After asking the ranger to speed up play between the 9th 20th hoke, he basically said no. After driving off he came and said he would. Of course the group in front got slower and we had a 3 hour back 9.

To add insult to the slow play, there were many greens that had bare spits covered with sand. This made some putts difficult.

Until a ranger dies jus work and the greens are fixed, I would. Not recommend this course. There are many better in Tampa area.

Good conditions. Greens very receptive but not mushy. Balls roll true with not a lot of curves. Good GPS on carts. Nice layout. Never close to any houses. Some car noise. Ok water practice range with balls provided.

Beautiful an challenging course. Water on just about every hole so bring extra balls if you can't keep it straight. Would recommend this course to all. Very friendly staff, an nice amenities available.

The course was in excellent conditions, the layout is very nice and preserve the beautiful nature that surrounds it. There is water and many sand traps.

Good course, water adds a challenge to missed drives, but forgiving landing areas

Not only was the staff very friendly, they helped accommodate my request of playing as a single player with my wife riding along. Other courses in the area were requesting I pay for a foursome to play as a single (even when not busy). So on top of the quality staff service, the course was phenomenal condition and layout etc. Will 100% recommend and I'm picky

Awesome golf course, can't wait to play it again! Lots of water was a challenge, however the course layout and conditions were excellent and very playable! Staff were friendly and hole 19 bar and drinks were a lot of fun afterwards!

Getting pricey as the course edges out non-members. Still, a fine test of golf with nice staff and a challenging course.

First time at this course with three friends, on vacation, absolutely beautiful, sure we all lost a few balls because of all the water but that did not bother any of us because this course is really fantastic and was in great condition. The layout and scenery and also the staff was top notch although we tipped the older guys $10 who put our clubs on our carts and mine fell off after 4 holes but I keep head covers on all my clubs so no harm done.

A must play if your in the Bradenton area, we drove over from St. Pete Beach, worth the drive.
