Waterlefe Golf & River Club

Waterlefe is always well run, and you can always expect an above average experience when playing there. Only 4 stars this time because the Greens were a little Grainy, and a little bumpy. Some of the Tee boxes also need some attention. Everything else was great!

Absolutely stunning views with some wild tee shots on the back 9. Probably the most beautiful course I’ve ever played .

Waterlefe always provides a 5 star experience. A fun and challenging course coupled with an amazing staff ensures a great day.

Highly recommend Waterlefe for golfers of all abilities (just make sure you play the appropriate set if tees for your game.)

Great layout and would have been in good shape if they hadn’t just aerated and sanded the greens. The excellent free lunch was unexpected but a welcome recompense for the greens. Very cool driving range into the lake with floating balls! Would love to play it again.

Great, challenging course. Few locals played extremely slow in front and wouldn’t let anyone play through. Other than that it was a great time .

Course was beautiful. They had just aerated the greens so it wasn’t ideal but I can’t blame them for taking great care of the course. To compensate they gave us free lunch. Staff was very friendly and they don’t charge for range balls which was nice. Challenging course to play but great experience.

I went out after work to play a quick 9. Didn’t pay attention to the aeration notice when booking my tee time - it was just aerated this week so obviously greens were horrible to try to putt on with the sand. I can see that this course is probably beautiful in normal conditions. Loves the layout- par 5s are not too long to reach in 2, but with the amount of water you have to keep it straight.

Just don’t understand why courses don’t discount greens fees when aerated greens are in effect.

I will definitely be back once greens are back to normal post aeration.

This is an exceptionally well designed course for the above average player. We knew The greens were aerated, I would’ve given a lot higher rating had they not been.

You need to be able to drive straight and bring extra balls with you. The course is very challenging but that’s a good thing.

Everyone that I came in contact with was very personable and a pleasure to deal with.

The greens had been punched recently, thus, very slow and bouncy. The fairway were lush and green given the semi-drought in Central Florida at the moment. I played the White tees and were lacking good grass, though the other tee boxes looked good. Overall, I love the course and the layout - I'll be back!!

Course is as challenging as it is fun to play and is always in great shape. The staff is tremendous.

Do yourself a favor and book a round soon but make sure you play from the most appropriate tees to match your game.

Great course. Experience I just had with guy at pro shop was very very rude. Didn’t tell us after paying 70 a person that the greens were aerated which made playing greens and outside of greens close to impossible due to the extra bits thrown to the side. When I came in to talk to pro shop guy about telling people about this prior to getting on the course. He was extremely rude and fresh with me. Honestly don’t think I’d be coming back here again after dealing with out right rude pro shop employee, don’t know his name but he is one on shift at time of post June 5th 2021 @11:50am. I would like to be reached out to about his professionalism
