Getting There
Course is great tee to green. Greens are always slow during the summer months. Plenty off grass on them and easily accessible. Great track to work on your game! Staff is friendly!
Wet Day
Decent layout but due to prior rains the night before has made the course wet, slow, and only 9 holes play.
Half course full price
Hole back nine is not in play due to water. Played front 9 twice and the fairways are more like light ruff.
Needs some work
Greens are in rough shape. Lots of no grass insight areas. Slow speed on the greens.
Tee boxes are lean through out the course.
Traps were wet ungroomed.
Course has a nice layout but condition says play elsewhere.
Extremely rough
Had to play the front 9 twice because the back 9 was closed. The front 9 was in really rough shape. The greens were terrible and the sand traps were mostly mud.
The greens were in terrible shape. Mid July and 97 degrees could have been the cause
OVERALL NICE COURSE
Overall Magnolia Pointe is always a challenging and fun course to play... the day was hot but beautiful... paired up with a comparable player as 2some and had a fun round. great pace of play, love the layout, a few greens were burned or rough but hope they come back ok.
Ok
I’ve always liked this place. Every time I’ve played here in the past year I’ve noticed it getting better and better. This time however, not so much. The 1st 2 greens were terrible. The rest were slow and inconsistent. Fairways were fine. Hope they get the greens fixed.
Course is in bad conditions
The parking lot is nice . . .
That's where the niceness ends. Greens were horrible. The fairways are riddled with weeds. The course has potential if only it had better grass. Overpriced in my opinion and wouldn't pay over 25.
Not worth it at all
Grass is knee high, out of carts on reserved tee time, absolutely no got worth even going and partner and I got ticks on our last trip here. I will not be back
course was in decent shape greens and tee boxes need improvement. had a 3:54 tee time and got kicked off the course at 8 pm on hole 17 by the ranger. unbelievable still had 30 mins plus of daylight.
