About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Pass on this course
They were extremely rude. The course was in disrepair. They had 18 closed. Said we could replay hole 9. When we arrived at hole 9 they had an employee posted telling us we couldn’t play it again. Basically told us go away. The course has declined since our last round. We will not play there again.

Very nice for a short course.
Was hesitant to play here because it is a short course 4,000 yards.. However it was laid out very nicely, greens in great shape. Overall course conditions, excellent. All the small details shows this course is maintained well.. Even though it is a short course,, it should greatly improve your game as there are many tricky holes, (after you have played it several times) Will be back to play again, took us 2 1/2 hours to play 18 holes.

Beautiful course
I play this course at least twice a week and each time the greens, tea boxes, fairways are always in great shape. The staff is phenomenal. They know you by name which makes for a wonderful experience. This is always my go to course.

Good for people that are not good.
This is a nice course to play at. It has some very easy holes, and it has some more challenging holes. You can really build your confidence back up on the easier holes after just destroying it on the hole before.

NO WAY
This place was great for a long time, but in the last few months it has become basically a waste of time & money to play. I hope they get it lined out because the staff is great & the layout is decent. I'll try again in a few months.

Course maintenance
They are currently laying new sod, so several of the holes are way shorter than intended. The staff is alway friendly and courteous.

18th hole
18th hole is the worst hole on any course I have ever played next time I only play 17 holes.

Frustrating
Pace of play was too slow.The greens were punched that I was not made aware of.50% of holes were cart path only and when you did wonder off, the cart slowed to a snails pace to get back on.Very frustrating.Tee boxes were not in good shape.Bottom line.If you want the cart to be controlled and thus increase the time you play by an an hour or so this is the place.
Hey genius half the holes are cart path only because half the holes are par 3's !...and it must be your first time golfing because the carts slow down when you get too close to the greens which is what you must have been doing !.... maybe you should stick to miniature golf

Great executive course with a fun layout and great scenery
Played here a couple of times. It's a relative short executive course, but the layout is interesting and the scenery is great. For a shorter course, there's a few opportunities to hit the driver, and a few holes can be fun to navigate. It seems to always be in great condition, and the greens were in excellent shape. Really like the practice area with a driving range over a lake. My kid loves hitting the floating balls in the water Good value course for a quick 18.

Well maintained course
The Groves takes pride in their course from the staff to the course conditions. Tee boxes, greens, fairways, traps, and rough are in good shape. Golf carts have gps. I showed up early and was able to go out with another Golf Now member early and played 18 holes in less than 3 hours.
