About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Nice course...fairways excellent...tee boxes very good...greens very slow and grooved like corderoy pants. I place a high rating on greens as there is very little margin for error on putts. was almost impossible to make a putt beyond 10 feet. Will play again for great practice on chips and short par 3's
Short but sweet
Course is short but plenty of challemges. If you place the ball well you can score well. Great course for the older golfer that has lost distance. You can still be putting for pars and birdies.

Robin at the groves
Great staff n amenities. Course in very good condition. Greens are excellent. Course is short but challenging with reasonable Amount of water sand and doglegs.

Fantastic Greens, but the rest needs work.
Fantastic short course and lots of challenges.
Par 66 should be more like par 60.
Greens were in great shape, sadly the tee boxes and fairways were very poor. Thankfully you don’t need to play from too many fairways. Carts are the best in the area. We will play again here.

Well kept
The course is in great condition with great greens. Just wish the holes were longer so I can hit driver. Also most holes are dogleg right and I can only hit a draw or hook so that’s just a me problem.

Good
We didn’t know what to expect since this was the first time playing. We were late due to traffic and the guy at the pro shop was nice about it. Pretty much had the whole course to ourselves except for the last 3 holes. Greens were great but a little slow. I saw reviews where people were complaining about the fairways and tee boxes being in bad shape. We did see some fairways in bad shape but it didn’t affect play. Some of the tee boxes have been re-sod. We’ll definitely be back. We liked the track.

Well maintained short course
This has been a beautifully maintained golf course over the last 4 years I've been playing here. The course was in amazing condition and the carts were top tier. My biggest complaint about this course is the unusual layout that will show you all over the neighborhood. All in all I would highly recommend this course.
