About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Great greens
Greens are awesome and in great condition roll true.
Only issue is typical Tampa Bay players have no golf etiquette and don’t let faster people play through but this is everywhere. Other than that course is fun to play and I will play it again soon

Extra Par 3’s
Unlike normal 18 courses this course had 8 par 3’s which is a faster pace and can work on your short game.

Great course!
Excellent greens and some challenging holes for a shorter course. Definitely a hidden gem. Chicken salad sandwich is an absolute must.

Fairways and tee boxes in rough shape
Normally a good course to play. Have not seen this course in such bad shape for a while.

Fun Day at the Grove Course
The staff was extremely professional and the course shorter then mist with 8 par 3’s. Great to work on your short game. The value was worth it. Will come back again.

For a short course ( only about 4000 yds from the tips ) you need to keep the ball in the fairway on your tee shots.....narrow fairways and water and sand hazards will come into play if you stray your shots.....not an easy course.....actually quite challenging for a high handicapper.....always in fine condition....with fast perfect greens and nice manicured fairways.....but don't hit it in the rough as I lost a couple of balls just off the fairway.....looking forward to returning again someday soon......

Nice course...fairways excellent...tee boxes very good...greens very slow and grooved like corderoy pants. I place a high rating on greens as there is very little margin for error on putts. was almost impossible to make a putt beyond 10 feet. Will play again for great practice on chips and short par 3's
