About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

18th hole
18th hole is the worst hole on any course I have ever played next time I only play 17 holes.

Frustrating
Pace of play was too slow.The greens were punched that I was not made aware of.50% of holes were cart path only and when you did wonder off, the cart slowed to a snails pace to get back on.Very frustrating.Tee boxes were not in good shape.Bottom line.If you want the cart to be controlled and thus increase the time you play by an an hour or so this is the place.
Hey genius half the holes are cart path only because half the holes are par 3's !...and it must be your first time golfing because the carts slow down when you get too close to the greens which is what you must have been doing !.... maybe you should stick to miniature golf

Great executive course with a fun layout and great scenery
Played here a couple of times. It's a relative short executive course, but the layout is interesting and the scenery is great. For a shorter course, there's a few opportunities to hit the driver, and a few holes can be fun to navigate. It seems to always be in great condition, and the greens were in excellent shape. Really like the practice area with a driving range over a lake. My kid loves hitting the floating balls in the water Good value course for a quick 18.

Well maintained course
The Groves takes pride in their course from the staff to the course conditions. Tee boxes, greens, fairways, traps, and rough are in good shape. Golf carts have gps. I showed up early and was able to go out with another Golf Now member early and played 18 holes in less than 3 hours.

Great greens
Greens are awesome and in great condition roll true.
Only issue is typical Tampa Bay players have no golf etiquette and don’t let faster people play through but this is everywhere. Other than that course is fun to play and I will play it again soon

Extra Par 3’s
Unlike normal 18 courses this course had 8 par 3’s which is a faster pace and can work on your short game.

Great course!
Excellent greens and some challenging holes for a shorter course. Definitely a hidden gem. Chicken salad sandwich is an absolute must.

Fun Day at the Grove Course
The staff was extremely professional and the course shorter then mist with 8 par 3’s. Great to work on your short game. The value was worth it. Will come back again.
