Atlantic National Golf Club
About
Formerly known as Grand Lacuna Golf Club, this par-71 championship course now goes by the name Atlantic National Golf Club. Designed in the late 1980s by Joe Lee, the course was designated one of the 50 best public courses in Florida. The challenging layout has plenty of variety that will require all different types of shots. Golfers will find that they need to use every club in their bag. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the strategically placed bunkers that lurk along the greensides and fairways are particularly tricky. There are some tough holes but it is an accommodating layout for all skill levels, especially since it has four diverse sets of tees. In addition to the golf course, Atlantic National offers a grass driving range, two putting greens, and a chipping area with a practice bunker.

Golfer Reviews
Excellent Greens!
Atlantic National is a very well maintained golf course. The greens are in spectacular shape and they were very enjoyable to play on. The bunkers throughout the course were also very good and fun to hit out of. Atlantic National is worth checking out.
Good Golf
The staff is friendly and accommodating. The course is well maintained and the pace is good. Some holes a quite challenging and others are moderately so. It is a good course for people who enjoy the game but have no aspirations of becoming eligible for a PGA tour slot.
Overpriced for conditions of the greens
Many of the greens need conditioning, but they were playing fast. The kitchen/bar closes at 4:00 so if you start after 12:00 nowhere to have a drink after your round
Sand traps were plentiful and sand was a pleasure to play from too bad nobody rakes after taking their shot
Greens very fast. Cups need to be moved more frequently. Most were TOOO rough around the edges!
Not worth the money they ask
The green was so so a lot of burned spot ,also on the fairways and rough
Course very busy
Pace of play slow.
Around the greens needs maintenance, dry and somewhat missing grass.
Nice Track
While this course gets pretty busy, the staff is friendly and professional. Fairways and greens are in very good shape and the layout is terrific. Only negative is that the round took about 5 hours…I’ll be back soon. Good value as well.
Great day, woke up on right side of the grass
Always a challenging round, good speed on greens. I was paired up with a great crew. We all had a blast.
