About
Formerly known as Grand Lacuna Golf Club, this par-71 championship course now goes by the name Atlantic National Golf Club. Designed in the late 1980s by Joe Lee, the course was designated one of the 50 best public courses in Florida. The challenging layout has plenty of variety that will require all different types of shots. Golfers will find that they need to use every club in their bag. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the strategically placed bunkers that lurk along the greensides and fairways are particularly tricky. There are some tough holes but it is an accommodating layout for all skill levels, especially since it has four diverse sets of tees. In addition to the golf course, Atlantic National offers a grass driving range, two putting greens, and a chipping area with a practice bunker.

Good Hot Deal
Picked up a mid day hotel deal to try this course out. It's the partner course of Florida Club in Stuart which is a decent place to play.
Overall, the course was in decent shape; tee boxes and fairways were lush. Greens were not in good shape due to recent cut and sanding. Cups haven't been moved in a few days. Green collars were scalped and literally dirt. I'd consider playing this course again after the greens recover but only on a hot deal.
Surprised
I always enjoy Atlantic National. With the overwhelming heat and lack of rain recently I was surprised as to how good the conditions are. I’ll be back !

On a quick trip to visit my parents here in West Palm Beach, decided to play this truck on a friend's recommendation, amazing!!
Fun and challenging course
It had been a while since I played out there but many friends recommended giving it a try again. Booked a good rate on Golf Now, the aerification alert was on but greens still rolled true just a bit slow as expected. Probably another week before they can get them quick again. Very well manicured bunkers. Very challenging course on a windy afternoon. Sloping greens well guarded by deep bunkering. Water in play on about half the holes. Course was slow but hopefully word will get out about the work they’re putting in there.
Fun course, easy, great staff
What a fun course. I played for the first time and shot an 84 from the tips. I highly recommend it for the price ($29). I would not pay full-price for this course. I would definitely come back for $29. Greens were fair and well maintained, fairways were pretty good. Sand was hit or miss. All in all, I’d give the course 3.5 stars but 5 stars for the value!
This is a really playable course for a 13-15 handicap. Lots of pars!

Worth the Hour Drive
First time playing there. Course was in good shape. Greens rolled very true. Will return again.
Course in very good shape for the summer
Usually this time of year with HOT and DRY conditions the course would be scorched out and in bad shape. Tee boxes, greens, and fairways were all in very good condition. For the value I'd definitely play this course again.
Nice track
Nice course starter makes sure you on your teen box for time. Greens good, fairways and tee boxes decent. Was 6th group out and finished under 3.5 hours for a weekend.
Boring layout
The course looks like it was designed in 1961. It's an ok course. Better value elsewhere.
