Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Solid course
First time playing and was pleasantly surprise. Some rough spots, but overall solid. Could use a little more TLC but certainly playable if you get a HOT Deal! Only issue is, that despite course being empty and nobody on tee sheet, nor at #1 tee AND guy in clubhouse told me to just go, the starter chased me down on 1 green and kind of admonished me, and made me listen to his 5 minute schpeal. That was a first
Beautiful day. Course in good shape.
Warm day but comfy. Front nine we played at our own pace as a 2 some so finished very quickly. Back 9 we were behind a 2 some with a 4 some ahead of them and had to wait every shot. Still, not terrible. Greens rolled well but were slow. A couple of greens recovering from hydraulic oil leak from mower.
Love the facility
Conditions were very good except for the 4 greens that had hydraulic fluid leak damage on them. Other than that I enjoy playing Arlington Ridge very much. It has great facilities and amenities.
Staff not welcoming
The starter was very rude and not welcoming to me and my playing partner. We also went inside the club house to get water after the round and the server acted as if she didn’t want to be at work that day. The greens were rough and super slow as well for the price that we paid to play. Will not be coming back any time soon
Greens need work
I have played this course several times and the conditions have been usually good to very good. Not this time. The greens need attention- I'd say 14 of the 18-need work. One was so bad it looked like a tractor had leaked oil or gas across the entire green. I'm sure they will sort this out, but I'd wait several weeks before teeing up there again.
