Arlington Ridge Golf Club

Very courteous staff, golf conditions excellent and an overall fun day for my wife and I. Will be playing again a couple of days a week while down here from Canada.

Arlington Ridge is a good course with enough challenge to test even the better golfer. The price and pace of play made it a very enjoyable round of golf

This is one of my favorite courses in Central FL Area (CFL)! Why? Because they're consistent. The course is pretty consistent when it comes to playing conditions. They were so nice that we had a group of 12 out on 9/11/22 and half of us went for 36 holes that day. I know fellow golfers in the CFL area can relate, bc some of these other courses go from really good to really bad in no time flat and it's usually tied the proximity of snowbird season. We often hop around looking for the "best bang for the buck" and I often find myself coming here - especially during the summer when other courses struggle w/ dead spots and disease. I can count on a fun & challenging playing experience, gr8 staff, and good course conditions. There are draining challenges on some holes, but they do a good job of marking those areas throughout the course. I saw someone give a 1-star review from about a month ago (u442104274) and wondered if they reviewed the wrong course. Keep up the good work Arlington, I will continue to bring groups of 12-16 as much as I can!

I played AR the other day and I was shocked at how bad this course was. First surprise was when I was told by the starter that the back 9 was closed and we would be playing the front 9 twice? Was never informed about this at check in and it only went down hill from there. The course was in the worst shape I have ever played in twenty years of golfing, and I have seen a few bad ones. First tee boxes were either absent of any grass or brown and high grass if you want to call it that. Fairways were burned out and had huge piles of grass clippings to the point of losing a ball on fairway because we couldn’t find it under all the clippings, this happened 3 times??? Greens had big bare spots and grass was long , dry and hard as a rock. I guess they do not water or have superintendent that knows what they are doing. Very upset lost time and money playing this place and deserve a full refund!

Good layout. Aerificatiion in effect but course still in good condition.

Arlington Ridge is in better shape than it was the last time we played it a little over a year ago. It's a fun layout with tees to suit all levels of play. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Obviously it's not a top-tier course (5 star rating) but it's definitely a good choice if you're not interested in paying the high prices you'll pay at Orange County National (which I rate as 5 star). Definitely give it a try.

First time playing Arlington Ridge and have to say dollar for dollar it is hard to beat. Got a great Hot Deal for early afternoon and can't believe it was so cheap. This is a far better course than many in the Orlando area that will charge lots more. Less than an hour up the US27 past Clermont so easily accessible and well worth visiting. Fairways lush and great to play from and greens in excellent condition - quite grainy so fast if putting with the grain and a lot slower into which was a challenge and great fun. Will definitely be back and hope they keep up the good work!!

Medium size practice green. Good shape except for a large damaged section on the backside. There is a practice bunker with a decent chipping green. Plenty of Bermuda grass on the range with various flagged targets. 6 tee boxes to choose from. They were in good shape. The course weaves around this retirement community with some distance between the greens and tee boxes. Wide, generous,healthy Bermuda fairways w/ strategic bunkering. No rough. Some weeds along the fairway edges. Some wet penalty areas, too along with several ponds. Greens were punched several weeks ago. They’re still a little bumpy but healthy. Number 3 green had a large damaged area and the par 5 number 11 is under repair but it’s playable. Nice, healthy green complexes and decent bunkers makes for short game playability.
