Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Arlington Ridge Golf Course
We live here and we are so embarrassed today when we invited friends here to play the golf course. The play was extremely slow, the greens terrible we had to apologize to our friends for the shape of the course. We started at 1:15 and finished 6:00 a long day!
Arlington Ridge - a great day out
We enjoyed our return visit to this lovely course, where we received a warm welcome from everyone, the only disappointment was the very poor state of all the greens, which were devoid of grass. We hope they will have improved by the time we next visit.
Great golf course , fair but challenging .
The course was in great shape , fast greens , fairways and bunkers in great condition .

Greens were terrible, could not hold a ball at all. Very unhappy! Very slow a lot of foursomes.

The fairways were in nice conditions. The greens were in bad condition.
The pace of play was awful. We waited on every hole and stopped after 9 holes.

To clarify, our bermuda greens are dormant; however, we understand the confusion when we don't use pigment as the discoloration does give folks the perception that something is wrong. On the contrary, our greens are quite healthy and we're pleased to say they're rolling extremely well. We appreciate your comments and look forward to your return!
