About
Miami Springs Golf & Country Club dates back to 1925, making it one of the oldest courses in the area. The club is the original home of the Miami Open and it has hosted many notable players over the years including Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. The golf course has become a local favorite over the years, offering a round that is both challenging and affordable. The golf course has a traditional design with narrow fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are small and subtly undulating. It's a layout that demands accuracy and careful course management will be generously rewarded. You won't find too much water on the golf course but there are some strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. Miami Springs Golf & C.C. has some tricky holes but it's not overly difficult for the high handicapper.

Relaxing round
Pace of play was good. Nice course for a relaxing round. Smaller size great make chipping important.

Good course for the price

Older course
You can tell that at one time this was a gem. Check in was great and friendly.
Range is ok but the balls are really bad!
If your off the fairway......good luck
Grass around the green 2nd cutting is thin and weedy. Hard to get a good shot
The restaurant staff was not very friendly but lots of times ladies get that at a course

Decwnt course pace of play was HORRIBLE
Just over a 5 hr round. I stopped and had a burger and a drink at the turn to let the people ahead of me get moving. I ordered and ate and caught the magazine by the 13th hole.
Conditions were decent, typical open FL course.
Staff were nice, bartender was more interested in the cute blond kitchen girl than getting my drinks, but she was cuter than me soooooo I get it.

Slow play
I just hit it at the wrong time and the entire course was backed up by a 2 some that seemed to be learning how to play golf. Very backed up.

Disappointed
I had played this course a year ago and I found it today
in horrible condition only thing that helped it play were the greens in good condition, the price quality was not in line with the present condition, I will not play it anytime soon and would ask you to reconsider your present 4 Stars Rating, it was a 2 Stars at Best .

This course has really good layout and always is well kept
I always enjoy playing Miami Springs because the course has a lot of history, stays in good condition, and is sure to give me a good challenge every time. I really like the long par 3s and tough par 5s. It makes me feel like I’m getting my money’s worth.

Very Nice
We had a very nice round at Miami Springs! The place was very nice and the course was in great condition and the staff was very friendly. My only issue was that they rented me their “only set of woman’s clubs” that did not contain a driver or a pitching wedge! Exactly easy to play around of golf without a driver! They only provided a Three-wood and a sand wedge. I think that it should’ve been a complete set of clubs for the money and when we mentioned this to the guy when we return them he was like “Sorry about that” Didn’t seem very concerned or offer us up any credit back for the inconvenience. .

Great value in Miami area.
Older course with beautiful mature trees. Wide fairways and fairly lush for public course. Wife and I played from the senior and ladies tees respectively and shot well. Greens fairly flat but in good shape. Pace of play excellent. Great value, especially vs high priced resort courses in Miami. The par 3 16th hole seemed like a “signature” - really beautiful.

Four Weeks Later....
On Jan. 25 when a good friend and I played the Springs, the venerable track was in wretched shape from tee to green.
On Feb. 25, the longish, wide-open course was in a near pristine state, save a couple of greens and fairways that were still in good condition. On the flip side, there was unexpected gridlock on the last three holes, plus no beverage cart service. The $55 fee was not a bargain, but a good deal, nonetheless.
Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the poor experience you had during your visit.
