About
Miami Springs Golf & Country Club dates back to 1925, making it one of the oldest courses in the area. The club is the original home of the Miami Open and it has hosted many notable players over the years including Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. The golf course has become a local favorite over the years, offering a round that is both challenging and affordable. The golf course has a traditional design with narrow fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are small and subtly undulating. It's a layout that demands accuracy and careful course management will be generously rewarded. You won't find too much water on the golf course but there are some strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. Miami Springs Golf & C.C. has some tricky holes but it's not overly difficult for the high handicapper.

Simpleout/ Good Greens
The layout of the course is not difficult. Fairways and greens were nice. The course is open, so makes playing from the ruff not as challenging ( a good thing for higher handicappers). Not alot of water so your not going to lose a ton of balls and makes for a fun day. The biggest plus is the bunkers and greens were in great shape so putting was pleasurable.

Good course
Friendly staff good pace course was in pretty good condition greens where a bit slow but well taken care off will recommend.

Good challenging course, except...
Good course that provides great value. Pace of play is the only exception. Could be better with a little enforcement. I will definitely play again, but only in the early early morning.

The front nine is gentle and the back nine works your game. The course is in good condition and the greens are okay

Wide Open Track
It was pouring rain for 2 hours before my tee time then the weather cleared. I always amazed at how well the course drains. There wasn’t any standing water to be seen. Course he a nice layout with not many water hazards in play. Would play again!

Nice course. Cool layout!
I enjoyed playing my way around this course. Not much water. Not tight. Fairways are flat with raised greens. A generous test. But shot shaping off the tee is required on a few holes. Par three's are a lil tricky with 2 of them being over 200 yards from the tips...
All in all a good experience although I had to put my bag on my cart myself.

Disappointing
Full disclaimer - I didn't have high expectations going in. I've been to Miami Springs before and am happy to enjoy it for what it is. So for more to be disappointed with my time there was quite a feat. I'll try to be brief.
Pace of play was bad. A 3some took more than 4 hours with nobody in front of them. Slow groups happen, but no oversight from the club to keep up pace is disapppointing.
No cart service at noon on a Saturday on a 95 degree day. No good.
This next gripe isn't about the course per se, but reflects on the lack of supervision on the course. Apparently picking your feet up when you walk on the greens is frowned upon. People had drug their feet all over the greens. It was horrible.
