Forest Glen Golf & Country Club

Loved playing this course. Many unique holes and layouts with a water and other hazards. Greens were well kept and with challenging pin placements. Starter was very helpful. Will return on our next Naples vacation.

We had just finished a severe downpour when I finally got out as the first one on the course. The greens were pristine. The course drained very well with just a few exceptions. Very well laid out and fair. Played from the gold tees and it was plenty long on some of the par 4's and two par 3's over 200 yards. Lots of water and trees if you are wayward off the tee. Really great value at $40. Our CC is over $800 a month dues and is not near as well kept.

Really about the best fairways and greens I've ever played. Even though water levels were way below normal they still made you rethink some shots. Greens read true.

The greens have significant contours and about a third of the fairways are narrow, but the course is well maintained and fun to play. A private course during the winter season but open for guest play during late spring and summer.

The course was really in good shape, especially considering the drought recently. Greens were excellent. It was our first experience at FG but I can say that we would definitely play again. Saw my first alligator on a golf course (well - at least in a pond along side of one of the tee boxes). Very memorable!

THE VERY BEST,OTHERS COURSE MANAGERS NEED TO TAKE A LOOK. THIS IS HOW A GOLF COURSE SHOULD LOOK,AND PLAY LIKE. THE COURSE SPEAKS FOR IT SELF.

I book and was playing as a single and was put in a foursome; all good so far. Showed up at the course 30 minutes early and they had let my foursome off early without me, as everything was open on the course. So they decided to drive me out to meet my foursome, so I ended up playing only 17 holes. No sense of customer service. That said the course was amazing.

The course is in great shape for May in SWFLA . Lots of target golf. Played from the whites and barely used my driver. Greens fairly true. Many holes picturesque but some have your typical Florida townhouses and apartments. Pro shop is a little cramped. Clubhouse, driving range and water stations are very nice. Hope to play again. Old guy who cleaned our clubs after play was crabby and rude. This is on a ten buck tip.

A very enjoyable round of golf. Course conditions are among, if not the best in all of southwest Florida. Fun layout with a variety of challenges from water hazards to small, undulating greens. Unfortunately, due to drought conditions in the area, some of the water hazards are unsightly. Played the front nine as a single in just over an hour and a half. A small tournament slowed things considerably on the back. Still finished in less than 4:30. Locker room and shower facilities were nothing special, but clean and stocked with basic toiletries.

Nice course just on collier ave south of75 in Naples area. Course was in excellent condition with all fairways, tee boxes and greens in great shape. Layout is fun with some interesting holes over water. not extremely difficult but fun to play and will try it again. Thanks golfnow !

The course is public during winter months and opens to the public during the off peak.. I went in late April, booked a single tee time at 2:00 and never had a wait or had anyone pressing me from behind.. the layout was excellent and the course was beautifully manicured with very true greens.. i normally play at a private club, and this course is a great way for golfers to get the feel of a real private club layout they wouldn't normally get to experience.. the cart staff at the bag drop off were very knowledgeable and helpful.. I will continue playing this course every time I visit Naples.. well worth the greens fees

Have played several of the public courses in the Naples area and this being a country club was by far in the best shape of them all. This is a target course so being long isn't as important as being accurate with your shots. Greens were hard and fast but fair.

Course knowledge is a plus so would like to play it again next time in Naples

Great layout. Well protected greens. Staff was pleasant and took care to make sure the day was enjoyable.

Definitely would help to play with someone with local knowledge of the course, as some of the holes have trouble that is not obvious.

Worth playing- even more than once, if you can get on.

The practice range was interesting - you hit balls into a lake.

Excellent condition under drought conditions, it will not be as good if water is restricted. Played with 2 nice guys. The course was well maintained can't remember what it was like the last time I played but it seemed improved. The staff have not changed though, I remember them being rude to my wife many years ago and I still found them to be very unfriendly and dictatorial.

Lot of thinking on each hole. Not a "driver-short iron" kind of course. Lots of strategic layups required. Greens, and rest of course, in very good shape.
