breakdown by thunderstrorm
we started at 12.50, after the first 6 holes a thunderstorm finished our Play and after waiting an hour the course was completly shut down.
Sorry that was too much for 138 $ , and we hope for a refund or other specila offers from golf now ,
course conditions were excellent , best conditions we found , could not be better.
Eberhard Dischinger, visitor from Germany
Good course
Nice layout in good condition. Played in under 4hrs.
Definitely worth playing if you can get on; which seems doable in October; not sure about later in the season.
Great course for the money
Well designed very challenging, pick the right tees, great visuals for each hole. Too bad play for the public is limited but a must play in Naples May-October.
Great course
Fabulous course in great condition.
Only slight problem was pace of play, but we were two ball in the middle of four balls.
course keeps you planning the next shot
a phenomenal course-it offers all the obstacles a
great course should-bring a few extra golf balls!
WOW!!!
I holiday frequently in Florida and have played a number of courses, this one is an absolute gem.
The fairest way I can describe this is by saying it is the best condition Golf Course I have EVER played. This was an incredible find and I will definitely be returning. Make sure that if you are holidaying in Naples you play this course.
The tee boxes were like the greens on some courses, perfectly manicured, the fairways and rough are immaculate, the bunkers perfectly presented (they were heavy but that was due to rainfall over the previous days), the fringes looked like they had been hand cut and the greens were superb albeit maybe a tiny bit slow.
PLAY THIS COURSE
Tricky track with no GPS on Carts
Tight course, many different Tees to choose from. Drive thru sand areas and well located water features. Greens were very true, but rather slow.
For a New visitor, with no GPS on the Cart, this was a ball losing experience. Driver was not always the correct selection, but with nothing but eyesight, I found some water and ran out of fairway on too many occasions.
Great condition and well maintained course
From tee to green the course was in great shape. Every place was level and green. It was a average hot south Florida day. Thank God for the water stations on the front and back nine. I got the hot deal which was a great value. I would play it again.
Great course - we will return!
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The course was in spectacular shape and very challenging. We had a great day and look forward to returning.
nice course in very good shape
course was in best condition, one of the 5 best curses in SouthwestFlorida, will come again
Great course
Forest Glen is a beautiful and fun course to play. We played in the middle of July (2015) and the course was in great shape.
Awesome experience
World class golf course. I played the tips because I hate myself and like the punishment. Front 9 is very tough and long. I recommend Gold tees on the front, Black tees on the back.
Conditions were very good. Fairways perfectly manicured. Greens had been punched a few weeks back but still rolled well, though they were a bit slow. Thankfully they were slow or I'd have added another 5 strokes probably.
Scott in the pro-shop was so nice and helpful. I even dropped a headcover during the round and he drove it out to me in the middle of the round. The cart guys had me all set up with waters and towels ready to go. Very nice touch.
I recommend if you can get out to play this course, do it, and soak it all in because it is beautiful.
To give you an idea of the difficulty from the front 9 to back 9: I shot 47-39. Must hit drives well. Or you'll have a long day.
Tough course to Play but Great Layout !
Very difficult course with lots of watet come into Play and for beginners Not easy to Play. If You Play the Golld Tees there is Often more äs 180
Yards to Carry to get the ball into Play. Nice Layout but bring extra Balls. Greens and some teeboxes where sanded so the Puting was Not
Easy . But we knew it that they sanded the greens and played for a Pretty low rate. Staff was Great and friendly!
When you search for a Challenge when in the Napfes area go and Play Forest Glen!
Very Well Maintained Course
Very nice course in perfect shape. They take the 'no cargo shorts' rule very seriously. I didn't even realize what I was wearing were cargo shorts, and had to buy a new pair of shorts in the pro shop. Otherwise, a great experience and would play again.
I would've paid double the price.
Have been visiting in-laws in Naples for 10 yrs & never got the chance to play Forest Glen until I stunbled across GolfNow for $80 in December. Got paired up with a local pro to play from the tips & boy ...... Was it challenging? Half of the tee shots demanded force carry over water. Must do your own homework before you get there since there's no map of holes on scorecard or whatsoever so some blind shots got me losing the balls. I can't wait to go play again now I know.
Smooth Sailing
Went at noon on Sunday. Played the whole round in 2-1/2 hours. Hit one group on 9 but they quit after that.
The course was in beautiful shape.

This is a very nice, well maintained challenging course, with a nice practice facility.
Superb
First time at Forest Glen. I will have to get my game up to speed before my next visit.
Course in fantastic condition. Tight fairways, loads of water and sand and greens were tough to read.
For an experienced golfer who can keep it in the fairway it is a joy to play this course.
I hadn't had a round in a few months so it was a long day. Still enjoyed the wonderful layout of the course.
The 18th is a spectacular hole!
Nice course !!
This is definitely one of the nicest courses I've played down here. Beautiful setting, and immaculate conditions from tee to green. Can be quite challenging, especially from the longer tees. Plenty of water, including some forced carries, deep traps, and undulating, multi-tiered greens that roll fast and true. The par 4 ninth requires a carry over water up onto a table-top plateau green.
Negativ: the Ranver made to much pressure.
Busy Friday afternoon
Excellent course with great fairways and greens, but play was much too slow for 100% joy.
